Newbie Questions for Publix Shoppers

When my mom and I went to Publix this morning and got a ton of stuff. Everything of course was BOGO and we had coupons for everything as well (yep, my mom's getting into it, isn't that awesome?!?). The cashier rang up every coupon we had, including the Winn-Dixie $10 off $75 but handed back three of the coupons because he said it said "per purchase". I'm guessing he thought the entire order and not just the items being purchased. I insisted he take the coupons. He didn't, but I did go up to the customer service desk who gave me the money for the coupons and said they would correct the issue with the cashier. Other than that, it was a pretty good shopping trip. It was my mom's first trip. She said it was such a rush watching the savings going up.

What does WT stand for & where can I find it?

WT = Wine Tag. It is a mfr coupon sometimes found on wine bottles or a tearpad near wine bottles. Where to find it? Ah, now that is the question.
In FL Albertsons or Publix, if you are lucky. Lately they have mostly been "wine purchase required" type ones though. Many people trade for WT's.

Yesterday I saw some coupons hanging from maple syrup at Publix, those would be considered a wine tag too, right?

Those are called hangtags. Similar concept, just found on regular products instead of wine bottles. :)

Where are you finding clearance in Publix? I haven't noticed it in my local store, so I wonder if they tend to mix it in, or if I should look for a special rack/aisle...:confused:

Publix usually has the clearance in special racks or on tables. Many times they are in the back of the store near the wine section. I know of a couple of stores that have racks in the front of the store when you first walk in, and another that has them in the back near the restrooms. It varies, but keep looking.

Hi. I've recently started going to publix and have been reading up on here, but I have a couple of questions. I've found coupons that have the publix logo, but also say that they are manufactuers coupon.

From what I read you can use a both a store and a manu coupon on products, but is what I have a store coupon or a manu. coupon???

I also wanted to verify that when buying items for a bogo, you can use two coupons since there are two items. Right? If so, that is such a great deal!

If it says "manufacturer's coupon," and has a barcode then you can use it along with a store coupon. The store Q's only have a lu#.
Yes, you can use two mfr coupons with a bogo sale (2 items), that is allowed and helps us maximize our savings. :)
