Default Re: Newbie Questions for Publix Shoppers

As long as your store accepts competitor, you can use the WD $5/40. As far as the Publix online one, I see no reason why it wouldn't be accepted in all Publix stores.

I should have worded my question more clearly. Can I use both at the same time? I figured I'd give the cashier the WD one first since it requires a bigger purchase, then give the Publix one. Think that will work?

Competitor's coupons are treated like store coupons so no, you can't overlap the requirements. If you only have a $40 purchase, you can use one coupon or the other, but not both. Using both would be like using two store coupons on the same item.

If there is a bogo item and I have a .50/2 mfg q that can be doubled, can I buy four items and get $1 off the two I pay for? Example: reg price on one $1.50....I buy 4 and have to pay $1.50 for 2 and get 2 for free. Then I use the .50/2 mfg q which is doubled, and wind up paying $.50 for 4. Is that the way it would work at Publix?

Item 1 1.50
Item 2 free
Item 3 1.50
Item 4 free
total 3.00

Coupon is .50/2 that doubles.

If you have two that would be 2.00 off, right.

Your new total would be 1.00

Did I understand you correctly?

Looks like I'm not too good at math. My real question is: can I use a .50/2 mfg q on a BOGO item at Publix? Or do I have to buy 4 items, because I'm getting 2 for free?

You are actually buying the free item and can use a coupon on it. So no, you do not have to buy four.

Just so you know, if you had a 50c off one item coupon and you did a BOGO deal, you could use two. Gah....I'm confusing myself

You can use a coupon on the free item, yes.

You didn't, I confused myself. It's really not that uncommon.
