It DOES say on the front and back that it must be used at publix. So.....does the pepsi coupon have to be used there, as it has the word publix on it but does not state that it must be redeemed there. Any advice would be great!!!!
thanks! | If the coupon has an LU # on it, then it is definitely a Publix store coupon and can not be used elsewhere unless the other store accepts competitor's coupons.
My understanding is that if it says "manufacturer's coupon" on it, has a barcode, has redemption instructions for the retailer, and does not say something like "redeemable only at Publix" then the manufacturer will reimburse the store at which the coupon is redeemed. Stores can refuse coupons for whatever reason so there's no guarantee that the other store will accept it since it has a Publix logo.

Atl. They double up to 50¢, as many as you have. It takes IPs, both cents off and BOGO, but not free IPs. You combine manufacturer coupons with Publix coupons and most of the time I get the overage. Bogos ring up half price for each item, so if you have a BOGO coupon, you will pay for half of one of the items. Yes, you can use coupons on both of those items and to be honest, that is where I do best at Publix.
I know there is a point to where the CS person has to come over, but I can't remember if it's $50 or 50 coupons. I've used both before and never had a problem. I have found that they are much more liberal with their coupon policy than every other store combined.
You may want to call your local store and anonymously pose the questions and compare to your experience when you do go in. |

| Re: where is info. about publix coupon policies??? I think this is the thread you were probably reading about coupon policies, etc: http://www.hotcouponworld.com/forums...-programs.html
Lot's of great info there! And also reading through the questions for newbies...I learned a lot from those questions and answers!
I agree with the pp about calling your store and asking some questions - especially concerning acceptance of competitor's coupons and IP coupons - is the way to go.
Also, I think it depends on the area, but my BOGO actually ring one up at full price and one up for free (rather than how Jiji described). So with a BOGO coupon on a BOGO item, I get both for free. Yay me! I guess it's a little consolation since we don't get doubles on coupons.
