Is a duplicate receipt acceptable for the Publix/Huggies gift card offer?
It says "original receipt," but I stupidly bought a Prevacid that I was getting a rebate on in the same order. I realized it at the checkout and got a duplicate receipt, but now I'm worried that Publix won't honor the $10 gift card offer because I'm sending a duplicate receipt. Does anyone know for sure??? The offer that I'm talking about is from the new "One Stop One Store" booklet where you have to buy $35 in Huggies/Pull Ups to get the $10 gift card. Thanks!

I've had that happen before and I went back to the store with one item (like the prevacid) and asked if I could refund for cash, then repurchase the same item with the cash they just handed you. Then you have a separate receipt for the prevacid. They've always been very helpful.
ETA: I just reread your post and see that you remembered to ask the cashier to print a duplicate receipt (better than I did!) and yes, that is considered an original receipt. What they are talking about is photocopies of receipts.
HTH!

That is good news! I am hopeful that I'll get both rebates then :)
