I do not think there's anything wrong with doing this at all. The store gets reimbursed full face value on the mq and they get reimbursed a percentage for the store coupon (depending on the deal with the maker of the yogurt). So the store is not losing out. :) The manufacturer knows all these coupons are out and they do it intentionally because they WANT us to take them for free in hopes we will love it and keep buying it full price when there aren't coupons for it.
It's not that I think it is wrong to do this- It just makes me uncomfortable- primarily because I like flying under the radar :) Believe me, I got $6 of overage the other day and was thrilled with it- but, it was in such a way that it did not "register" with the cashier (couldn't resist the lame pun). More power to anyone doing it- I just don't want to even go there but I recognize it is not "wrong" to do so

A friend and I had to think about this one. And the way I see it is that it's kind of like using a manuf. coupon on the free item of a BOGO. In that instance, the store is giving you one for free and you're able to use a manuf. coupon on that. So is it a big difference between the freebie being automatic or being from a freebie store coupon? They're still getting reimbursed by the manuf. in either instance.

That being said, I am now happy that I only had one of the $.30/1 manuf. coupons. I tried this today with the store coupon and not an eyebrow was raised. But this stuff is really gross! No wonder they have to give it away for free. It had the gritty texture of baking soda. And although blueberry is my fave flavor for any yogurt, the taste of it in the Yoplait and Dannon Greek yogurts is very tart. Not sweet like the fruit on the bottom Dannon which I adore. I will never buy either one again. Blech!

How is the Chobani? I haven't tried them yet, but I have several B2G1 Q's. I hope I end up liking it.

Sometimes this works on multiples. The q states "Limit one purchase per coupon per customer." My store defines that to mean one coupon per item. (It would be different if it said limit one deal per transaction, or per day, as some of them do.)

For courtesy, I always double-check with the mgr as soon as I enter the store, and the mgr approves it. That way, if the cashier needs to check with someone, I know who told me it's OK.

I love love love the Chobani (pineapple and pomegranate are my two favorites). I tried the free Yoplait (Honey) and tossed it after a spoonful.

Chobani I only bought originally b/c it was free after Q but now I buy it and pay for it....it's a world of difference from "american" yogurts like YoPlus (which I also like). Beware, the pineapple is not 0% fat like the others.
