My best Publix deal yet!! Mainly because I learned that my fave Publix, at least at this trip (I suspect it depends on the manager) takes Wags rr's!!! :) And I had about $40 in them!!
The cashier was flabbergasted. He said I taught him several new things and wanted to know if he could go shopping with me. lol. He said I deserved a trophy.

I did this in two transactions to take advantage of two $5/$50 coupons I had.

3 boxes Electrasol tab
1 8 o'clock coffee
3 Covergirl makeup remover pads
4 V8 Splash
30 jars Earth's Best organic baby food
1 Hellman's mayo
4 Johnson & Johnson first aid items
3 Reach floss
1 Glucerna
2 Green Giant frozen veggies
5lb bananas
2 zucchini squash
2 bags baby carrots
1 package mushrooms
1 5lb bag Florida oranges
2 Schick Quattro razors (I had a raincheck for 6, and they had 2, so I have a raincheck for four still)
1 6-pack Jello pudding
3 boxes Eggo blueberry waffles
1 Cascade rinse aid
2 Silk light Chocolate milk
3 Gortons premium salmon filets
2 Gorton's butterfly shrimp
2 Suave shampoo/conditioner
4 boxes Back to Nature cookies
1 Mentos gum (to get over $50 on my first trans...oops!)

Total oop: $1.60 (!!!!!!!!!!!!) (Yes, that was one dollar and sixty cents. No numbers are missing. I actually paid these with change from my wallet.)

I used Wags rr's: $23 (these were earned for items I only paid tax for, so practically free rr's)

Total savings (including rr's): $189.28; or 99% !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HOLY SHEEP!!!

I don't count the BOGO savings in my overall savings, because I wait for items to go BOGO before I buy them. I only count my coupon savings.

8 assorted McCormick Grill Mates & Grinders
-$1 x8, made 4 cents in all on these
2 Yo Plus yogurt
-$1, -$1.50 made it free
2 Coffee Mate creamer
-$1.50 on 2
2 Maxwell House coffee
-$1 on 2
1 Halls cough drops (q was for free item)
1 Marie Callender Pasta Al Dente (q was for free item)
4 Lysol Neutra Air spray
-$1.50 x4
2 Lysol wipes (at $1.50 each after q, they were my most expensive item)
-$1 x2

Total OOP: $8.35 (7.61 before tax)

Default Re: My great shopping trip at Publix!- Post your brags here

I wanted to come on here to tell you ladies THANK YOU!! for all the help that you provide on here. I had one of my better shopping trips yet at Publix and was called a coupon queen by several customers yesterday!!

I got so much stuff that things were falling off my cart and I was getting stares!

Anyway here is my break down. I got so much that I'm not even going to try to list it but here is my savings:

Vendor coupons: 56.67
store coupon: 17.13
Advertised special savings: 83.07
Advantage buys: 3.27
In store specials: 1.29

TOTAL SAVED $161.43

TOTAL SPENT: $163.14.

I broke about even on what I saved and what I spent. I also won't have to go shopping except for essentials for probably a month at least on most things!

My husband about passed out when he started unloading everything, not because of what I spent, but because he didn't know where it was all going to go in the house!

I won't list out all the details this time but I went shopping twice yesterday- my first bill was mostly a birthday cake and newspaper and my second trip I spent $25 and saved $55.

Free Ritz and Wheat Thins ($1 manu Ritz, $1 target, free WT when you buy Ritz Q)
4 free glad wraps ($1/1 manu qs used on the advantage buy 100 ft size)
1 more set of energizer batteries for $1.69 ($3 ad q plus $1 manu q)
2 chinet lunch casuals plates and 2 chinet napkins for $1 ($2 casuals q plus 2 free napkin when you buy plates qs)
2 mini-wheats for $1 (2 $1 manu qs)
2 yo-plus yogurts (4 pk) for .50 (2 .50/1 q)
3 Lawry's marinades for $1.25 or so (3 .50 manu q)
1 more mccormick spice grinder (the shelves were empty at the store- useed $1 manu q)
6 12-pks of dr pepper and diet pepsi for $12 (used publix flyer B2G1 Dr Peepper and used IP for B2diet pepsi, G1 flavored DP free)

and some stuff I am forgetting

I also told another woman all about this website as well as red plum, smartsource and coupons websites :)
