My great shopping trip at Publix!- Post your brags here

Well, I thought I did great, until I read most of your posts! We don't have doubles here in Central Florida, but I spent $100.38 and saved $121.15. They took a coupon for Publix BOGOF and a manusfacture coupon for Lysol, and some others to be really cheap.
But all of your totals are WOW! I'm getting there. (I did just as good the day before at Winn-Dixie)!

This is part brag, part aggravation. I saved $41.00, but that was offset by having to go to customer service to have cashier's drawer counted so I could get the correct change! She shorted me $5.00, and gave it back without a word, no sorry, my bad or anything. She even entered the wrong amount as tendered.

I think she must have been flustered by having the bagger pull out 4 pk of post notes when she would not accept internet coupons for $2.00 and calling the manager over. I found other $2.00 regular coupons in my uncut stuff, so will go back and get them anyway.

So, guess I won't print out any more internet coupons for more than $1.00. However, Publix is still my favorite store and always has been.

To make the Milk n Cereal bars an even better deal - there are peelies out for 4 free Yoplait yogurt cups WYB 2 of the MnC bars.

So - buy 2 MnC bars, get 2 free, save $4/4, and get 8 free yogurts.

Publix is taking both $1.00 cpn on the Ballpark BOBO. I just found out recently they would do that, so have been testing them on the hot dogs.

Those Publix booklets up front are full of high value cpns and many of the items are on a good sale. Guess they really want to keep me out of Walmart.

Also, if you subscribe to their store magazine, there are wonderful coupons in the home version, and many of those items are free or almost.

Think it is called Publix Style. Mine is all chopped up. Looking for Central Florida shoppers.

I'm in Lake County and my Publix won't allow printables over $1 either. My friend lives near Clermont and her Publix takes Target printables and just about anything else she finds that is legit and scans.

WOW!!! and I thought I was doing great spending 130 dollars AFTER getting 70 bucks in discounts! hopefully I can learn thru osmosis... maybe if I sleep on the keyboard?? hmmm.... :)

We went grocery shopping thi morning. Our bill was 154.xx, paid 54.xx out of pocket and SAVED right at 100.00. I've been couponing for right at 2 months and goodness what a huge difference coupons and b1g1 make.!!

Well, not as good as a lot of these, but I went out today (not going to itemize, would be too long, but suffice to say an entire trunk full and part of my back seat!) my total was 170, but my OOP was only 98! not quite saving more than spending, but since it was my first time out, I was so excited!!! the woman in line behind us freaked, the cashier was like 'WOW!!!!' and so was the bagger girl! My husband and I were practically jumping up and down and he was like 'honey, I'm so proud of you!!!' So, I'm pretty excited about it!!: biggrin:

2 CG lipgloss

Then I went to CS b/c CG lipgloss rang up 4.99 and there was a sale sign saying $3.99 that someone forgot to take down and they gave me back $6.35 for the price right guarantee.

So, I walked out of the store with all those groceries free and an extra $0.85 more than when I went in!
