I won't bore you with my list of purchases (mainly because I'm too lazy to type it all) but I hit the big score today. It took me 2 hours with 2 kids in tow but woo-hoo!

I think the best deal I pulled off was using a $3 (or was it $5 I can't remember now) Huggies diaper coupon (BJs) and $3 Huggies wipe coupon (BJs) w/ the Publix $5 off coupon. Or maybe it was using the Albertson's B1G2 free on the Spare Ribs...

Saved: $144.76
Spent: $119

The best I've ever done and made me really glad I spent a little elbow grease this morning getting all my coupons in order.

my husband laughs at me too. i just stand there all excited until he asks to see the receipt...lol. he thinks i'm a dork until he gets the same look on his face when he sees the totals....makes it all worth while.

Oh this was sooo much fun!!!! I finally got some of those wonderful Free Kraft wyb q's I've been reading about and probably have if I ever got around to cutting up my inserts and filing them. Anyway, I got some thru a couple of our auctions. Some of them I got in the mail today expire on Sunday, so I was really excited to use them. O.k. here goes, keep in mind that my Publix was actually very well stocked with all the items I got, so I made sure their was plenty left for others.

7 Kraft American Cheese Slices = Free
1 Oscar Meyer Beef Franks = Free
6 Kraft Light Ranch Dressing = Free
10 Crystal light Assorted Varieties = Free
4 Nabisco Wheat thins = Free

4 Free produce wyb Kraft (This was a hard one, because the q's stated max $1.00-how do you only buy $1.00 worth of produce? Well, I bought some peaches and bought them 2 at a time for each q. I still had to pay appro. $.50 per 2 peaches, which still isn't too bad, I guess.


I also got

6 Smart Balance Spread

I got more that wasn't really a great buy, but still good. I got several of each of the following items.

Ball Park Franks were BOGO had q's for $1.00 each off 2. plus had q for free buns wyb. so I got the Ball Park Angus Beef which ended up being only $1.50 ea. which isn't great, but I got Free Sara Lee buns with each 2. So, I don't know that might not have been that great of a deal. Since I can get the cheaper kind for only $1.

What do ya'll think? Should I pass on the Ball Park from now on & just by the $1 pk. or is the Ball Park actually a better quality & better for you?

O.K. I also got

2 Mt. Olive Relish $1.10-.55q=$.55 ea.
4 Smithfield Bacon $3.00 -$.75q= $1.50 ea.
6 Gatorade Powder 6pk instant $3.00-$75q=$1.50ea.
Diet Pepsi Max for DH 5 12pks $10.00= $2.00 ea.
10 Powerade Zero 10 for $10-.30q dbled= $.40 ea.


I didn't have q's for these;

2 Lays Chips BOGO= $1.89ea.
6 Kraft BBq sauce BOGO= $.65ea.
2 Barilla Spagetti Sauce $.72ea.


Well that's most of it

My total savings was $237.43 and I paid $74.46

Oh a couple of the highlights of my evening, you'll like this;

1) The cashier freaked out when I handed her all my Kraft wyb q's. She kept insisting you can't use all these they will all be free. I was very calm and tried explaining how they would work together. She said she would have to get the manager, which of course I didn't mind, I offered to go get her myself.
Well, when she got there the cashier proceeded to try to explain to her that if she allowed me to use all my q's that most of my items would be free. The mgr. o.k. it and told her how to do it. The cashier tried a couple more times to explain that I would be getting all those groceries for free, after a couple more times the mgr. somewhat convinced her it was o.k. So, she rang them up reluctantly.

(Now, from what I've been reading these q's have been around for a couple of months. Surely, this isn't the first time she has come across someone using them)

2) The mgr. marked down some of my q's so they wouldn't be overage. I had 6 q's that she marked down to $.39. She had us wait while she went to get a calculator to figure out 6 X $.39. O.k. now I could do that in my head.

I had a great trip to Publix this weekend. I bought 4 cans of Blue Diamond Walnuts, 1 Wishbone Dressing, and an AJC (newspaper) for just over $6 with tax by combining manufacturers coupons, bogof sales, and publix coupons. Gotta love it.

I got four 4pks of the Dannon light and fit yogurt for .24...total. I used the Pyramid Q for $1/1 and a blinkie I found at Kroger (TODAY) in front of the yogurt for $1/1. The yogurts are priced at 2/$4...so all I had to pay was tax. Hoo Hoo
