I can't believe how much I saved at Publix on Friday (thanks to you guys!!). I spent $94 and saved $208!!! They had some great deals on frozen food items that they were trying to get rid of (BOGO at clearance prices + coupons). I also got all the juice that was on sale and other items (sorry, I had to mail my receipt off for the JC Penney gc).

total OOP after coupons with tax .23 cents! Total Savings of 93.29!

The last coupon took my total negative because of some overage on the salad dressings. I told the girl I would take it back and pay the 3.84 total - she said no that I had bought the required items and that I should get to use it. So she called the manager and he overrode the last coupon giving me a -19 cents subtotal. So with tax I got out of there with paying only .23 cents!

I think the person behind me was so shocked they are going to start looking into using coupons!

I think I did pretty good considering I"m still pretty new at this. My sister went with me to see how I did it too. I went yesterday before the end of the sale. They were out of the 0.1 cent item- TP Oh well.

Good job! They should always have a replacement item if they're OOS on the original penny item...be sure to ask.

How do you get the JC penny gc? My store had no info on it and looked at me like I was crazy when I asked.
