My great shopping trip at Publix!- Post your brags here

I went in yesterday to blow out the rest of my coupons that applied to the current sale. (ours end on Tues) Everything I bought had coupons - BC Brownie Mix, Knorr Sides, PopTarts, Eggos, Dole fruit cups, Beech Nut Cereal, Sprite, Crystal Light, hots dogs, Wheat Thins, all the usual suspects. Total before savings was almost $260...total OOP was only $45!!! DH and guy in line behind us were amazed. Loved it! Best trip yet!

Well, here's my deal for today - don't have enough room in my house for the rest of the free Kraft things yet so this will have to do... Paid $29.03, savings were vendor coupons: 30.73, store coupon : 2.00 advertised savings : 31.26, advantange buy savings: 1, total savings 64.99 and I still have the $10 rebate or free firefly phone coming! What a deal!

And this is better than CVSing because I got actual food we will eat! String cheese, peanut butter, waffles, pepperoni, hot dogs, and so on and so on! I love coupons!

this was my first publix trip! i have stopped in mostly for the deli but never shopped there! and i just started clipping and printing coupons. so i did super target 1st and did great there total b4 coupons was $95 and i spent 24!!
so off to publix
i got 10 boxes of pop tarts on bogo i used 5 of the $1/2. going to use them for the rebate!
8 boxes of eggos bogo
4 dole on bogo
4 chef boyardee
2 bogo quaker bars
2 lipton bogo
2 brownie mixes bogo
toilet paper not on sale and only had a tiny coupon but needed it
and other stuff not on sale
total before sale and coupons 110
after.....
30!!!!!!!! i am sooo thrilled i am so excited to continue to save! cant wait til i build up coupon supply!

Well, I'm a newbie but last week by using Q's with BOGOs and sales (in addition to other items we needed that I didn't have Q's for) I got $100 worth of groceries for $50. DH was with me and was impressed. That felt good. I have a loooot more coupons this week so hopefully I'll do even better!

My DH was super excited...as was the 14-year old bagger and the 74-year old cashier (who bless her heart missed one of my $2 coupons and I didn't want to say anything). As it stands, she had to call a CSM because every coupon over 50 has to be manually overridden. Yes, each and every coupon.

Anyway, my total bill after coupons was $110.43 (and included -.04 in sales tax...how can you be negative in sales tax?) and I saved $153.27.

I bought a lot of extra stuff:
9pks of DanActive = $9.00AC (had a raincheck for $2/pk - $1 MQ)
3pks of Frappuccinos = $9.98AC (used b2g1 coupon stuck to package)
8 bottles of Similac formula = $21.52AC (used 4 $5/2 PQ + 8 $1/1 MQ)
1 Rotisserie chicken = $4.49 AC (used $2 off deli wt)
1 Boars Head Sub = $7.19 (cashier missed my q)

That stuff alone, had I not bought, would've brought my total down to $58.25....

That's awesome savings! I hope once I get my coupons built up I will be able to save more like this!
