My great shopping trip at Publix!- Post your brags here

I went to Publix last night and it wasn't by any means my best trip. You know, that one trip where you have to buy tons produce, deli, milk- all that crap that never has coupons. Anyhow I spent 127.87 and my total savings was 118.90. Not terrible, but considering the non coupon items, not bad.

However, what made it so great was the reactions of the people around me. I was nearly cheered as I walked out of the store. There was a young couple behind me with 4 items, I knew they had to be irritated with all of my coupons. I felt bad for them, I had several that needed the item price looked up because it was a free or up to coupon. It too forever for me to check out. Toward the end of the coupon ringing the guy behind me said.."DAMN, you're going to bankrupt Publix!". LOL, he kept going on and on, made his wife/gf look at my totals, told me I needed to write a book, etc. It was pretty funny. The cashier and bagger were excited too. It's encouraging, I loved it...and it wasn't even that great of a trip!

My store wouldn't let me use the $10/$30 WAGs coupon. They only take printables under $5 :frown: No worries though, I still did REALLY well with the $5/$35.

Woohoo! I rocked the CG! Teehee!

I got:
9 Wetslicks
4 Lipsticks
2 Nail Polishes

Plus I had to get some filler items, so I raided the clearance section and found they had discounted the Hershey's Kissables from $.60 to $.25, so I got 7 of those. Then I got 4 Grandma's cookies at $.50 each.... so my total for all the makeup and goodies was...


$10.02!!!! Between the 40% off CG and all the stinking q's, I saved $76.74!

Ok so I got 8 bottles of sundown B6 $5.39 2 CG lipglosses and 4 publix yogurts. Used the fathers days q's and $2 mq's for vits and Lip gloss and a 5/40. Paid $1.24 and my DD has B6 for over a year. YAY!!!!

My Publix wouldn't take the $10/30 either....but they did at least take $5 off (no IP more than $5). So...better than nothing.

GREAT trip to Publix today! Here's what I got:
2 - Apple and Eve Organic Apple juice - Not on sale but DS LOVES this stuff!
3 - Nestle Cookie dough
3 - OR popcorn
4 - Old El Paso Dinner kits
2 - Old el Paso taco seasoning
3 - Purina cat food bags
2 - Meow mix cat food cups
6 - Bush's grillin beans (had BOGO raincheck)
4 - Ken's salad dressing (had BOGO rain check)

I used a $5/30 WD coupon and had coupons for every item

Spent $5.76 OOP ($3.50 was tax)
Saved $70.37
