My great shopping trip at Publix!- Post your brags here

My great friend showed me how to do the couponing. Publix seems to be the best store for me to save money. I have saved so much money doing the BOGO deals and combining them with coupons. With the way prices are going up on everything this is a much needed save with a family of 5. Kudos to my friend for sharing

Just have to share:

Had to pick up an Rx tonight and did a fairly quick nearly unplanned shop:

Total Saved: $248.21

Total OOP: $.73


I was quite tickled and even missed a few coupons I could have used, the pharmacy started a policy of one gift card per day per customer (I was hoping to get two G/C's) and I gave away a bunch of my Winn Dixie coupons!

What did I buy?

46 Little boxes of GM cereal
14 - Sweet Baby BBQ Sauce
4 Aunt Jemima Syrup
1 Purina One 18 lb. dog food (not on sale but needed)
10 Colgate Toothpaste with free toothbrush (2/$4 less $1 MFR & $1 Target)
12 - Cover Girl make up sponges, sharpeners
4 Revlon tools
10 Sundown vitamins
1 Kraft Sliced Cheese (not on sale but needed)
3 Johnson Buddies Soap
4 lbs. Bananas
2 big packs fresh mushrooms
1 loaf bread (not on sale but needed)

There's probably some other stuff but that's all I can think of right now.

I had one $25 gift card from an Rx I had to pick up. I also had one $5/$40 from Winn Dixie and one $10/$50 from Winn Dixie.

I was able to get Sundown vitamins for $1.94 and use $3 coupons.
The Revlon tools were $1.49 and I was able to use a $1 MFR
The little boxes of cereal are 2/$1 and I had $1/2 coupons. The Johnson's soap is $.99 and I had $1 off Q's. The free things help to get my total up to use the Winn Dixie coupons.

I think I probably did 4 transactions that night. Wish I could remember more.

My store is AWESOME! Also remember the total saved includes the ad savings, coupon savings, etc.

I went to Publix over the weekend and got

1 box of double zip ziploc bags
2 boxes of wheat thins
1 8 oz block of kraft cheese
1 gallon of Publix Milk
8 Meow Mix dry food bags
10 cups of meow mix soft food
2 boxes of Special K fruit and yogurt
6 pack of boys socks on clearance for $2.50
5 12 packs of Pepsi products
6 10 packs of minute maid juice coolers.
2 Kraft salad dressings
8 Nature Valley Granola bars

I paid $40.34 OOP and saved a total of $172.87

You should have seen my cashier's face after two orders of saving that much when I went to the customer service desk and walked away with cash. I walked by and let her know that I had forgotten my free cheese coupon, which stuck to my coupon box. She was giving me weird looks, so I thought I should let her know LOL.

This was my first big Publix trip, this is what I thought was great(I won't list everything, just the awesome deals):

2 bags Lay's Chips
1 Sara Lee Soft and Smooth Bread -Free wyb 2 bags chips
2 Vlasic Pickles, large jars -.69c for both w/ coupon
2 Bertolli Meals - FREE
2 Kraft Dressings - FREE PLUS $1 off produce
4 Uncle Ben's Rices - .39c for 2 after coupon

I bought a lot of other groceries that I needed, but saved $18.58 w/ coupons. I was really pleased with this trip. Can't wait to go back next week

Got the Orvile R. Popcorn BOGO
Got the Honey Bunches of Oates BOGO
Got the Nestle's cookie dough BOGO
Used a coupon for each item....$1.74 total out of pocket for the six items.

Plus I picked up the ConAgra/Home Depot mail in from customer service.

Ok s I REALLY REALLY wantd 2 post earlier so you guys could take advantage BUT I did not have ne time between Walg. and Publix...so heres what I got in the 1st trip
