Sure can, the Birdseye steamfresh that are regularly $1.69 come out to $1.69/2 with the 50% off sale. Right on the freezer door, there is a blinkie coupon for $1/2 in my store, that made it $.69/2. These are great veggies and a killer deal for this price. Just a heads up if you are in Florida, in the front section of the newspaper there was a Publix ad with a $5/$50 coupon good until the 22nd, so you could get even better deals using that. It does not say anything about excluding the use of other coupons either.

Awesome Publix Trip-How did you do?

For the cat lovers out there...I found Good life cat food for $3.49 (advantage buy) at my Publix and had 5 manufacturers $3.00 coupons bringing it down to $0.49 for each 3lb bag. Also found Pepperidge farm cookie coupons next to the cookies for $0.55 off a bag bringing down to $1.45 each with an additional pealie for free box of Bigelow tea when you buy 2 cookies. All in all I paid $32.69 and saved $71.93. The cashier congratulated me.

I got 12 Green giants, 1 15 ct box of pizza rolls, 4 fast fixin nuggets, 2 swiss miss pudding, 4 shredded wheats, 2 curves, 4 pop tarts, horizon milk, cover girl powder puffs and 2 dove chocolates (rain check). My total came to around 57 dollars. After coupons, it was $14.32. I've done better, but I'm pretty happy with this. My receipt says that I saved $78.77. I had no problem using the green giant target coupons with the mfc from the Win Dixie booklet. I paid $0.17 per box. I was able to use a gift card that I got from my store manager.

I had a horrible experience when I was there last time when a cashier flipped out and treated us rudely. She did not like that I had a lot of coupons and tried to find a problem with every one of my coupons. She got upset before she even noticed that I had potential vitamin overages which of course I didn't receive. I still ended up pay $15 instead of $52 and she was outraged that I spent so little and saved so much. I wrote to Publix and told them that I was not writing to argue the coupon issues but that wanted to be treated better by their staff. Ten days of not hearing anything nor shopping at Publix went by. I emailed again about being upset at the lack of communication and the district manager called and promised the manager would be calling also. They apologized and sent a apology card and $20 gift card. I had a lovely cashier today and left very happy that I went to his line.

I went to Publix today and saved quite a bit! This is the first time I really did great.
Total: $127.xx
After coupons: $58.xx
Total Savings with coupons ($70.13) and the sale prices: $128
Not too bad! I am learning and hoping to keep getting the total down. My cashier was nice and scanned all the coupons with no problem. I did use some of the Target coupons for the Green Giant Veggies and Cheerios and a manager had to come over, but she was great as well. I love my Publix!:)

HI Re: My great shopping trip at Publix!- Post your brags here

I just wanted to share my INCREDIBLE customer service experience w/ my local publix.

today, when i went to publix to get my lenders bagels (they're b1g1 1.95 , use your .50c/1 lenders bagel Q and pay tax ) i was a little confused if the frozen lenders were on sale as well as the fridged ones or if it was only the fridged ones. so i went up to the managers by the cust. service desk and they immediately inquired about my Q binder, he said "what'dya have there?" i told him "coupons, purse, bagels and questions" he laughed and i explained my question to him. he told me that it was only the fridge ones that were b1g1 but that there would be no problem freezing the fridge ones. i jokingly asked for a deal and of course he laughed.
so i went on about my shopping and when i checked out w/ my 3 bags of bagels i paid .05c oop for them. well , just to give him a little more hard time about not cutting me a deal i brought my receipt over to where he had been standing. he wasn't there but the Assistant manager was, and i asked him to page his manager. i told him that i was gonna give him a hard time about not cutting me a .05c deal. he laughed and told me he'll probably give you change from his own pocket, and made a bet that if he did then he himself the *am* would give me a quarter. so the manager comes up and i tell him and sure enough he said " well, in that case here i'll give you a quarter!" so then i told them i just got 3 bags of bagles and made .45c profit! ANOTHER store to pay me for taking their groceries! he laughed and i explained the overage at walmart. he got on to me for using the "W" word in publix and explained that it was considered cussing. so i said "well maybe you can help me out, i have 3 of these huggies clean team wipes, do you have them?" and the AM said he wasn't sure and that he would go check. A few minutes later he came back w/ a bag behind his back and put a tub of the publix baby wipes in my cart and said "have walmart top free! and it's our own publix brand so you can try them at no charge!" the manager then took half the stack of the publix yellow coupon books and stuck them in my cart. he said that i was the youngest , most friendly / open couponer they have there and that he was going to call me the "Coupon Momma" from now on!

so, here's a big THANK YOU PUBLIX!

I love my local Publix too and Employees are always soooo nice. They love it when I come in & walk out paying close to "$0" oop.

A couple weeks ago,I was in there shopping and I saw the Manager walking around with this other man, that looked like he was being showed the managing ropes. I smiled and said hello when I walked pass them......next thing I knew, the manager was at my side and told me that he wanted me to meet the stores soon to be Asst. manager.

I thought Oh! ok, he told the other guy that I was the go to person,if he had any ? about coupons in general. He told him that I am in the store at least 2 x a week and that they even have my home # for emergencies(You do? how? no one has called me?) He laughed and reminded me that I had given him my # about 2 years ago so he could contact me when a shipment of an out of stock sale item.

Anyways,it made me feel really good about my couponing and knowing that they do appreciate the revenue I generate for Publix and of coarse I love the stockpile I have cushioned us with for a rainy day. The local foodbank is always in awe at the stuff I donate and they hava asked how I can afford it...I gladly let them know that it's coupons and sales.

Thought i would share....

Louise
