I got 19 items including sushi. The cost of the sushi alone was $8.89 but my total bill after coupons was only $9.82!
I got:
Nature Valley Nut Clusters
Fresh Express Salad
Cheez-It
Pillsbury cookies
Jimmy Dean Dlights
Yoplait Yogurt
Publix Bagels (used the $1 off any Target brand bakery purchase = 2 bagels for .38!)

So, basically if I hadn't gotten the sushi my total bill for all of the above would've been .93! For more details you can see my purchases on our blog!

Are you using more than one coupon per transaction? No problem with that?

I did 4 small trips yesterday. I called ahead to make sure the $4/4 cps were okay. I used 2 each trip, plus my other cps. Here they are:
Trip #1
2 Pillsbury frozen biscuits 2/$5
4 Progresso chick peas .89ea
1 Publix real bacon bits $1.39
2 Golden corn muffin mixes 2/.89
1 lb. fresh green beans $1.00
Total $1.84 savings of $12.74

trip #2
2 Pillsbury Ready to bake cookie dough $2.00 ea.
2 Pillsbury frozen biscuits 2/$5
2 Cascadian Farm frozen berries $2.99 ea. (I normally wouldn't buy these, but wanted to try them)
2 Pillsbury Cinnamon minis $2.09 ea
Total $4.45 saving of $19.86

trip #3
4 Mueir Glen tomato sauce .89ea
2 Breakstone sour cream BOGO @ .99 (*.55 blinkie cp, used 2 FREE w/overage too)
4 Chex snack mix $2.50 ea.
2 Lays Chips BOGO $3.99
Total $1.94 saving of $21.58

trip #4
4 Totinos pizza 4/$5
2 golden corn muffin mix 2/.89
2 BC banana nut muffin mix .99ea
1 1/2 lb. ground beef $4.04
Total $2.91 saving of $9.00

We didn't have any problems using the $4/4 GM cp and our other cps until the last Publix. And, that's the one we always shop at. This little cashier wanted to act like she knew everything. She came up to "help" our cashier, after the manager helped him. She totally messed up my daughter's order. Even when the manager told her the cp was okay. She tried to question our items. Wanted to know where our cereal was, etc. I told her that I called ahead and talked to the manager. That still didn't shut her up. In the end, we were right and she was wrong, again. I told my cashier that I wished they'd send her down to the Sun City Publix, because she'd fit right in with their crabby and mean cashiers. LOL. He just laughed, and told us how much he appreciated the help in how to use coupons and the sites we gave him, Hot Coupon World being one of them, of course. We're going out again today. I've got 4 list made up already, but I'm running out of Manufacture cps.

Default Re: My great shopping trip at Publix!- Post your brags here

I was out running errands and went to our 3 publix (all within a 10 mile radius) in a loop.

1st store:

4 Simply Cookie Dough - $2.00 each = $8.00
4 - $1/1 Simply Cookie Dough Coupons
1 - $4 general mills coupon
OOP - 24¢ (which was the tax)

2nd store:
12 Simply Cookie Dough - $2.00 each = $24.00
12 - $1/1 Simply Cookie Dough Coupons
3 - $4 general mills coupon (this was OK'd by manager)
OOP - 74¢ (tax)

3rd store:
1 - 1/2 Gallon of PUblix Sweet tea - .99¢
12 Totino's Pizzas - $1.25 each - $15.00
3 - $1/4 Totino's Pizzas
3 - $4 General Mills Coupon (once again OK'd by manager)
OOP - 1.47 (tax and the cost of the sweet tea!)

So now I am pretty much out of room in my deep freezer...but my husband loves those pizzas, and I have plenty of cookies for the holidays and parties that are coming up.

I am debating looking at the coupons to see what I can get for free or cheap either for our own use, or for the Can-A-Thon that the school system does every year in November for the local food bank.
Of course, it cannot be anything frozen.....LOL - cause My husband is going to crap when he sees how full the freezer is!

Last trip of the week..

1 Smart balance milk 3.59
2 kraft cheese slices 4.00
1 loaf publix bread 1.29
1 loaf natures own bread 2.00
1 dz eggs 1.49
1 lb publix turkey lunch meat from deli 6.89
1 gallon minute maid berry punch 3.79
(the above were the needs)
4 mg tomato sauce .89
4 gg green beans (wish they had other veggies this price .80
2 cans of grands biscuits 1.99
2 cans of golden layers .89
8 bags bc corn bread mix .45 each
4 bags of bc blueberry muffin mix .99 each
4 bags of nv nut clusters 2.50 each

used Aldi's 5/30 and publix 5/50 and ONE 4/4 for the NV
paid 26.00 (cashier got nervous even though SM was right there and gave the okay to use (7) 4/4's and told me to go to the SM)

SM totaled everything up (NO OVERAGE) and gave me back 18.00

so I paid 8.00 for everything. Which is quite okay considering just for the things I needed the total was going to be 21.00 and I now have enough conbread for thanksgiving and christmas (and have enough to donate)...
