Default Re: My great shopping trip at Publix!- Post your brags here

What made our Publix trip good this week is that I had expected it to be an expensive week. It was one of those weeks when we had to buy a lot of full-price perishables . . . you know, stuff we just have to suck it up and buy when we need it because it can't be stockpiled. We spent $25.50 OOP and saved $49.94. Not great, but not nearly as bad as I feared, so I'm happy. Combining Oikos WF Qs and MQs (for an overage) and Quaker Bars Target Qs plus MQs really helped. Plus a Publix $5/$30. Too bad there's no doubling here.

Wanted to get 4 of the Green Giant 12 ct Corn on the Cob that was BOGO this week and a few more vitamins and eye shadows while green adv Q's still good .
So did this deal twice to make it lowest OOP for me.

2 GG Corn on Cob 12 BOGO @ $3.49
2 Muir Glen 6 oz tomato paste @ $1.09 X2 = $2.18
2 Sundown Vitamins $9.18
1 Maybelline eye shadow $2.99
4 muellers wheat pasta BOGO @ $1.19 x2 = #2.38
= $20.22
- $4/4 PQ from ad
-.50/2 MQ any Green Giant veg (sorry , not sure what insert)
- $2 - (2) $1/1 Muir Glen MQ better at Home Booklet
- $9 - $6/2 PQ Sundown green adv & $3/2 IP
-$3 - $2/1 Maybelline green adv & $1/1 tearpad found at Walgreens
-$1.60 - (2) .55/1 Muellers IP & (1) .50/2 MQ
= .12 + .21 tax (Maybelline ) = .33

Way I have to do it for my store , so did 11 items & 11 coupons per order .

So got 4 Green Giant Corn on Cob 12 ct , 4 Muir Glen Tomato Paste , 4 Sundown Vitamins , 2 Maybelline Eye Shadow & 8 Muellers Wheat Pasta
for .24 + .42 tax = .66 cents for 22 items.
