I went to Publix and had an awesome trip. I did spent more than I wanted but life goes on especially since I'll get $20 back from the Full Plate Rebate. I did send my receipt out before doing the post so i wont be putting down the totals for everything.

I am new to coupons and have already saved our family a ton this month. Last night was my best overall trip. However, I am still not as good as some of you guys. I made worksheet to help me know how much I am spending and getting. I am still a little off the actual total... trying to work out those small glitches.

I didn't know that I could use the .55 poptart coupon on any poptarts or I could have done better. I also barely made the free milk if you spend 100. I spent 101 before coupons. whewwww

not too shabby though.
I have spent a total of 385.07 at Publix this month with a savings of 458.85

Considering that includes two parties and we usually spend 150-200 a week on groceries I am excited about my new couponing adventures!

I tried to include my worksheet for the breakdown of each item with no luck. Maybe someone can help???

I think I did pretty great, for my first time using coupons at Publix. One little snag, the cashier didn't scan one of my $1.00 off coupons. I called the store, and they said I can just come in with my receipt and they will fix it. So I'm going to post this as if they did scan that coupon. Also, my DH asked for green beans for dinner tonight, and at $1.79 a can, that messed up my total, so I'm not counting those, either.

I also only did deals where I could use Internet coupons, because I don't yet have a stash of inserts.

The $5/$35 Publix coupon was home mailer from about 2 weeks ago, it expired 8/12 and the Winn-Dixie coupon was from a home mailer.

my publix wouldn't take the milk coupons - they said they don't take any IPs for "free" items
