Publix: Great Deal on Dixie Plates and Napkins - $1.34 for 2 pkgs of plates and 2 pkgs of napkins [x 3/10/10]

i can confirm it scans at $3.50. i did this last nite.

OK - I'm glad to hear this. Now to add a little more complexity to it. Apparently there are two versions of this FREE DIXIE Napkins WYB 2 packages of Dixie Ultra Plates peelies. There's a Green peelie and a Yellow Peelie . The wording is slightly differently on each one - both say "UP TO $3.50" . Now the only reason I'm posting this is that one rings up as $3.50 off automatically, the other asks the cashier for a price. (Which he entered as $2.69). I did this today but I wasn't paying enough attention to how each one registered.

Can anybody add any more insight to this? What color did they use to get the $3.50 off automatically?

Also, on the upside - I found a MFR tearpad for FREE KC Masterpeice BBQ Sauce WYB two Dixie 200 Count Napkins. exp 4/30/10 in the ad turnstilre . So I ask you, can this deal get any sweeter??????

I got my pates and napkins. I saw peelies and used them. My cashier scanned them and yes they were 3.50..She says to me ..Oh no I can't let you get paid to come in..What. I said your company will get the money back..I was told that a woman can in and had over 100 dollars worth of groceries and paid a couple dollars. In my head I thought Dang I need to get with her.
They said NO GO on the 3.50 off.

I'm gonna say that the green one is the one that prompts the cashier to put in the 2.69. Most of my peelies were green and I kept back a few because some of my plates had two.

My receipt showed -2.69.

Not 100% positive but 95% sure it was green.

ok I did the deal and the yellow one scanned 3.50 I didn't try the green one, because they were out of the bogo napkins and I just got one of the big packs of dixie napkins on sale 2.99 ( had 4/20 comp. q and needed these as fillers)
u can't use the green ones for the big packs of napkins.
oh and total 1.36 saved 34.20

There is a tear pad for 2.00 off cereal when you buy 2 dixie bowls..... ex. date 3/31/2010 forgot I had some of these....but I never get the coupons on dixie plates or bowls in my paper.

As always it is YMMV, because yesterday I went to 2 different Publix and I got the 3.50 off on 1.99 napkins. So Yeah for me.
