At any rate, the store manager agreed with me and the CSMgr and I will be able to get them next week when I go in. *sigh* It used to be so nice shopping at Publix, but since the DM decided to enfore the new policies, ahem, guidelines, it's drama all the time.

| Re: Publix - Don't be surprised.... Yep, ours too, we just had a fruit basket turn over on co store managers, cs managers and assistant cs managers. They each have their own policy on the rules too.

| Re: Publix - Don't be surprised.... I went to one of my favorite local Publix stores today, and there has been yet another change made to policy which was said to come down from Corp.
Keep in mind, this comes from an awesome, very coupon friendly store. I am confident that Corp. did contact them, as they said. They were told that they were no longer able to accept Target, CVS, WAGS, BJ's coupons as competitor's coupons as they are not considered traditional competitors.
DOH, I never knew that they even took WAGS, CVS, BJ's, (no other stores in my area ever did) but I had always used Target q's without issue. Now it will only be traditional supermarket competitor's coupons only. This was the first time I'd heard this, but I think this will be going into effect in my area.
I'm thinking they need to keep a notice up in the front of the stores with the names of the acceptable competitors, so that we don't have to run into issue at the last minute! It is quite inconvenient.

| Re: Publix - Don't be surprised.... None of mine take Target Q's anyway-not even the Publix that is RIGHT NEXT DOOR to a Target. It seems really stupid to me. They may not be a "traditional" grocery store, but a Super Target IS a grocery store inside of the department store.
