| Re: Knox coupon not for gelatin product? I got 3 boxes yesterday. The cashier refused but luckily the wonderful store manager was bagging my order and said "you must take it, she purchased the product and go ahead and scan all three"
I looked up and the lady in line behind me had the same product and thought "Hope she doesn't have the same issue"

| Re: Knox coupon not for gelatin product? It is not to be used. I'm not a mod or anything to get into it but Knox Nutrajoint is one company and Knox gelatin is another and I have found numerous letters posted by people on other coupon sites from the knox people.
I know wording trumps pictures and that is usually how it goes but because they are two different products, I think in this case obvious price of the items plus picture trumps wording. I feel wrong using them myself.
Gelatin is less than $2 a box at every single store I know of, why would they put out a $4 coupon for it kwim?

It does appear Kraft Foods sold its Knox NutraJoint and Knox for Nails nutritional supplement businesses to NBTY (natures bounty). NBTY will license the Knox trademark to Kraft for use in its Knox gelatine business, which is not part of the sale. |

| I agree...it appeared to me at first it was the same company....they have the same name, same logo, same font, etc. But in fact Natures Bounty bought the licensing rights from Kraft for the Knox name but only in conjunction with the NutraJoint products. They could have avoided such a mess if they only put "$4 off any Knox NutraJoint product".
In my opinion, they shouldn't hold the retailer responsible for the coupons.....the coupon's wording (i.e. manufacturer) is to blame for this...not the retailer.

| It is the position on HCW Admin that as far as they are concerned, the written word on the coupon constitutes the offer, and these $4/1 Knox coupons state that they are good on any Knox product. The letter that has been posted on the web was not forwarded to us by the manufacturer, and if they have an issue with our discussion at HCW, they are welcome to contact us. If the manufacturer wants to exclude or include certain products, they can do so on the written terms of the coupon, which has been done in the past. The two companies share the Knox trademark, and the Knox Gelatine is indeed technically a Knox product.
The use of this coupon is up to one's own discretion. If you don't feel comfortable with it, then don't use it.
