I told her that I use a lot of tylenol and do not know what I am going to do now that it has been recalled. She said to check with my physician for an alternative.
I let her know that I had 6 bottles in hand and that my mom has some also, but I would call with her info later. She did ask if we had any gastric issues, to which I informed her of issues that myself and mother had, which we did not attribute to the medicine until informed of recall.
I gave her the various lot numbers (several) and exp dates, she put me on hold and looked them up and they are sending me a full refund for the 6 bottles. When asked what I should do with them, she told me how to dispose of them.
Apparently, someone else will be calling me back with regards to the gastric issues.

(BTW...I use at least 3-50ct bottles of these a month! I guess I will be going to the generic until it is all straightened out)

My final count is 16 bottles of recalled tylenol! Eek!! Dh has even been taking some of it since the sale. The gastric question really has me concerned since he's been having some issues over the last couple of months.. I called and was told I'm being sent a replacement "coupon" for three bottles and someone will call me back concerning the rest of the bottles in the next couple of days.

Has anyone received any replacement coupons or refunds from this recall? I just keep getting mail from their Risk Management requesting my medical records, which of course I am not releasing to anyone, especially for replacement product/refund!!!
Glad I kept all my bottles of their product and did not detroy them as they told me to on the phone!!!!

I had called when I heard about the recall. I told them about the bottle I had that was included in the recall and left my information with them. (Name, address, it was all automated). About a month ago or so I recieved an envelope with a letter from the company with 2 coupons inside. One was for up to $8.00 and the other was for up to $12.00. Each is for any of their brand products (McNeil). I ended up having 2 bottles included in the recall and got rid of both. I never spoke to an actual person so I am not sure what you should do but maybe something will show up. Hope this info helps!

I called and the rep said I would receive a replacement coupon for three bottles. I got an envie with ONE coupon for a product up to $8.00 only. I still have over a dozen bottles in a bag in the closet. I called about those and was given an address to send them to. IF they qualified for the recall, they would then send me the value back plus shipping. I dunno. I thought it sounded like I'd end up being cheated with that super stressed "IF" so I haven't mailed them. I planned to have dh call but haven't gotten around to it yet. I'm kind of a "anything to avoid conflict" push over or something and thought he might get better results. It isn't too late, is it?

I just checked and they still have a consumer website for information about the recall. There is still an email link and phone number to their Consumer Care Center. If I were you, I would call or email them about what you were told and what you received in the mail. If I had that many bottles that were recalled and couldn't use and had spent all that money, I would be very unhappy about it. You definitely need to contact them and see what they are willing to do for you. Good luck!
