Default Re: Publix: Free or Really Cheap

Saw one tonight..

16ct Midol is 3.69
7.38 - two 16ct
-5/2 advantage flyer coupon
-2/1 peelie ***There are TWO peelies like this. One says 40ct or higher, the other has no size listed on it at all. My store had both.***
-2/1 peelie
= 1.62 MM if your store allows

You can mix this one up a bit, too. I also saw 20 & 24 count boxes for 4.99. There's a 2/1 any 20ct or larger IP on midol's website. If you don't find the peelies at all, you can still get two pretty cheap with the IP.

9.98 - 2 4.99 boxes
-5/2 advantage flyer coupon
-2/1 IP
-2/1 IP
= .98 for two..

Also..
King's hawaiian rolls, 4ct, are .99.. Does this coupon work since it doesn't list the 4ct as being excluded like they usually do?

King's Hawaiian Original recipe or Honey Wheat Bread - 12-13-09 RP, 1/1

If so, free hawaiian rolls.

My husband and I decided this year we wanted to be able to donate items as well as our time to a local shelter as we ourselves feel fortunate in hard times. I actually work for Publix and the other day as I was checking out one of my regular customers, he mentions to me that he is the director of a local food bank! I was so excited to talk with him and find out what I can do for him through donations and time! It would be truly amazing, if we could keep this thread up and going! Thanks to everyone already with great posts for deals!

Oh duh! I'm a doofus! I've been making a special trip to Earthfare forgetting that I can use those coupons at Publix, and I'm there multiple times in a week. :hectic1: Thanks for the tip, lol!

A cashier at Walgreens I became friends with has hit hard times. She has two small children and her husband was laid off. She is finding it hard to put food on the table. I am so glad that I can find a needy recipient I know for donations. I am happy to donate to the local food bank but I am even more thrilled to help a friend.

As of today the Rolaids 3 packs are ringing up on Advantage Buy at $1.50! They were at the regular $1.85 on my trip Friday. No sign or anything at my store so I was combing my receipt trying to figure out why it was off. It almost made me go in the negative

At my Publix, they are Advantage Buy 2/$3 until 1/29 I assume. So I updated my deal alert on that. Still free since the coupon states "up to $4

Was passing one of my Publix without my coupons with me (Eeeek). But decided to stop in to see what booklets they may have and to at least pickup a couple bottles of Bayer low dose for my mom, so she has something to use instead of the St. Josephs.
As usual, here in Florida (LOND), our Publix prices are a little bit higher.

Even if your store does not permit overages, 26 cents is very cheap for two bottles of aspirin!!
