Default Publix "Summer Savings" coupon booklet

Found a new coupon booklet called Summer Savings in the store lobby. It's about 7"x10". It's greens and oranges on the cover mostly with a picture of a grill, a girl on a tire swing, and a steak on a grill.
    • Buy $10 of Publix beef, pork, or chicken and get one 12-pack of (reg or diet) Cherry Vanilla Dr Pepper or Dr Pepper Berries and Cream free (up to $5.29), x 6/30/07, DND-5. This one says manufacturer's coupon, but also says "good only at Publix" and has a Publix logo up top. One odd thing about this coupon is that in the main wording it says "up to $5.29" and by the write-in box it says "max retail value $5.29", but in the fine print in bold, it says, "If retail value of free item exceeds $1.29, then consumer to pay the difference on free item." I assume it's a typo, but I don't know if it will give anyone problems.
    Store coupons:
    • Leisure Ways gas grill, $40/1, x6/30/07
    • Rio beach chair, $1/1, x6/30/07
    • Patio set with value of $189.99 or more, $20/1, x6/30/07
    • Publix 9' or 9' 2-tier patio umbrella, $5/1, x6/30/07
All the rest are manufacturer's coupons:
    • Glad Forceflex trash bags, $1/1, x6/30/07, DND-5
    • Hidden Valley Ranch dressing or KC Masterpiece barbecue sauce, $1/1, x6/30/07, DND-5
    • Bush's baked beans, $0.50/2, x6/30/07
    • Tetley tea, any, $0.60/1, x8/31/07
    • Vlasic pickles, peppers, or relish, any, $0.50/1, x6/30/07
    • Atkins advantage shake 4-pack or advantage bar multipack carton, any, $2/1, x6/30/07, DND-5
    • Glaceau vitamin water 20 oz, B1G1, x6/30/07, DND-5
    • Pompeian olive oil 16 oz or larger, $1/1, x6/30/07, DND-5
    • Duncan Hines products, any, $1/2, x6/30/07
    • Clamato 32 oz or 64 oz bottle (max $4.99), B1G1, x6/30/07, DND-5
    • Hawaiian punch gallon (up to $2.50), B1G1, x6/30/07, DND-5

On the back is an ad that says "Save up to $35 inside our free guide. See the Coors Light in-store display for savings". The guide is red, white, and black with a Tyson, Weber, and Coors Light logo. I haven't gotten my hands on one yet.

That first one is rather odd. I rarely find a good deal on meat at Publix, so I dno't know if that will help.

Macaela25: I think I remember you saying you were in central florida, if not sorry. Anyhow, you mentioned publix has rarely has good deals on meat, where do you go for good deals if you are in the central florida region? I'm thinking of adding another freezer for stocking up even more on meat deals :)

I am in central FL about 45 minutes outside Orlando. DH and I try to stock up on steak whenever Target puts out their $2 printables, and I watch sales for ground beef to go under $1 lb. The only good deal I found at Publix (good meaning free or under $1 lb) is when I got 25# of ground chicken free in January and when their boneless skinless chicken is $1.99 lb and I've got some sort of chicken WT or offer. Other than that, Target is the best option for steak, and Winn Dixie occassionally does .98 lb ground beef.

Wow. Thank you for the info. Next time you see a deal on beef please post on here. If i see one I will do the same. As far as target steaks, when is the best time to go to use the 2 printable and peelie together?

Could I talk someone into getting me some Bush's coupons? We moved away from Publix a year ago and I deeply MISS IT! Can anyone spare lots of these please? TIA!

I've never been able to use printables and a peelie together at the store I go to.

Crabtree, if I get my hands on some of these I'll let you know.

Sweetbay always has meat marked down when it is within a couple of days of the "sell by" date. Also, Sam Seltzers Restaurants has awsome deals on ground chuck. It is limited to certain times. I think after 5:00 pm and only on certain days, and there is usually a waiting line. They sell it in pkgs of about 4 lb. It was .79 per pound last time I went. Limit of 5 pkgs per person I believe. Best to call first to verify all this. It has been a very long time since I went there because of the distance from my house.
