This week Publix has strawberries on sale 2 for $5, through Tuesday or Wednesday depending where you are. I was told by a Publix employee last night they are getting in less strawberries than they ordered (by 1/2 at this store). So if your store is out now is a great time to get rainchecks, especially due to the freeze here in FL, since they are the #1 producer of strawberries this time of year.
