How sad am I that I actually wanted the calendar for the coupons and could care less about the actual calendar??

On a side note....I personally do find it sad that they included the Islamic New Year (I think that's what it was) - which is not an American holiday, while excluding Pearl Harbor Day - even though it's not an "official" holiday.......include both or exclude both......incude everything (and fill up the little boxes completely) or exclude everything......

There are plenty of other days in our country's history. I think the only reason that one would make somebody mad, would be if it was super personally affecting somebody. As in maybe she lost a relative in the day, that is still leaving her depressed now. And every time she sees that day, she thinks about the sacrafice her relative made to fight the terrorist at that time. So when she sees Islamic New Year. Then she might think of the terriosts celebrating that day.

I don't know.

I am sorry...but when I see crap like this, I have to wonder why a corporation would bother???? Here they are doing something good for their customers and they get this stupidity for their efforts! I already knew that Dec 7th was Pearl Harbor Day and recognize that each year, I did not need to see it on a calendar. I did not know that it was the start of the Islamic New Year...which I would have found interesting. I know...I am weird, but I see the date and I associate it automatically with historic events. I do not need a gift from a grocery store to keep me informed of our nation's historic dates. I would have just appreciated getting the calendar and coupons and the fact that they actually were doing something nice for their customers!
Can't believe that people actually took the time to call and complain about a good deed the company was doing, rather than praising them for doing!

There was a misprint on last year's calendar where they had the same date in one month. Did she complain about that too? No, she's not bright enough to catch it.

It's truly pathetic that people complain about something with absolutely no significance to anyone except losers with too much time on their hands and too little interest to make an actual difference in the world. That chick needs to fix her skewed priorities-- perhaps by volunteering time/food to help the less fortunate. Or by trying to stop childhood abuse or disease. One thing for sure she needs to do is GROW UP!
