My Milton, GA Publix won't allow competitor with MQ anymore

I was just at Publix and I was purchasing the Command hooks. I tried using one Publix coupon and one Target coupon. The cashier called the customer service lady over and they told me that the store manager decided that you can use 1 Publix Coupon and 1 Manufacturers coupon per item OR you can use a Competitor Coupon on an item, but they no longer accept a Competitor Coupon with a Manufacturer Coupon. :sad: She then said that this is supposed to happen everywhere, although I am not convinced at all - this manager also stopped accepting FLIPS and said that all of the Atlanta area had stopped as well, but that is not the case at all.

Has anyone else run in to this?

For anyone who shops by me, this is the Bethany Bend store in Alpharetta/Milton.

Eww! that's near my job so i go there often on the way home. Stinks! I'll try it sometime and let you know if they stop me too..sorry :(

My Publix (Johns Creek) also stopped accepting FLIPs as well as several other competitors but I have not seen what you are talking about happen here.
