Don't forget that a lot of these General Mills products have Boxtops for Education on them! Even if you don't have kids in the school system right now you can still donate your Boxtops for Education to your local school (public or private). I figure that we'll all be getting lots of GM products this week, so that could add up to some real money for your child's school/your local school! We collect boxtops year-round for my daughter's school. You can just call your local elementary school office to see where you can drop them off. They really do add up and the schools really do appreciate it!
Also, some GM products may still have the Publix/Boxtops bonus peelies on them. That promo expires tomorrow. You can make an account at Click Call Mail and enter the codes to benefit your local school (you choose the school). 8 codes=$5 and 12 codes=$10. You can enter 12 codes per household, so if you have extras you can contact other parents to enter them for their households (that's what I did and our school has $65 in our account as a result). Anyways, don't just throw this stuff out...it means real money for our cash-strapped Florida schools!
