Publix: Hamburger Helper Deal exp 10/11/09

OK fellow HCW members, here a deal for you.

Coupons needed

$1/1 Muir Glen Coupon in Better At Home Manufacturer Booklet found at Publix

$1/1 Ground Beef Publix coupon in Better At Home Publix Booklet/Flier found at Publix and in Newspaper (1 page)

$1/1 Ground Beef Peelie found on some Hamburger Helper Boxes @ Publix (Stroganoff variety) (they're just starting to show up in the stores)

FREE Reusable Shopping Bag Publix coupon WYB 2 GENERAL MILLS in Better At Home Publix Booklet/Flier found at Publix and in Newspaper (1 page)


Here's the scenario -

$2.69 1 lb Ground Beef Market Ground (price @ my store)
$1.59 1 box Hamburger Helper
$0.89 1 Muir Glen Tomato Sauce
$0.99 1 Publix Reusable Shopping Bag
minus
$1.00 -$1/1 Ground Beef Publix coupon
$1.00 -$1/1 Ground Beef Peelie
$1.00 -$1/1 Muir Glen Coupon
$0.99 -FREE Reusable Shopping Bag Publix coupon

$2.17 plus tax for all four items -

Now the Shopping bag is a YMMV - but all items found in the Better At Home Booklet are General Mills Products. The Hamburger Helper has it printed on the side of the box that the item is distributed by General Mills Sales, Inc.

It is also listed on the General Mills site as one of General Mills Brands. Take the list to the store for backup.

Like I said it's a YMMV on the bag, I've only been questioned once.
If you do get a bag, check out the Halloween themed bags, they're kinda cool. (Jack O'lantern, Frankenstein and a Princess wand)

Now some may ask why I didn't include any coupons for the Hamburger Helper itself. Well it would mean more out of pocket, and you can only use one of each Publix coupon at a time. The Publix coupons have the wording of "Limit one purchase per coupon per customer". So we can't use multiples of those coupons here.

Hopefully this deal will get sweeter if the Hamburger Helper goes BOGO before the Publix coupon expires on 10/11/09.

And also I believe there are some Hamburger Helper Manf. Q's floating out there...I have some in my binder that are Manufacters....Not sure where I got them.....whoops nevermind...its .75/3. Whoops. :sad:
