The coupon says One coupon per person, per transaction

I understand one per transaction but what does the per person mean?

I assume one per transaction means one Q in a group items purchase and tendered together. And one per person means...well....one Q per individual human. Food Lion IPs also have this wording and I don't try to over analyze it. I just don't use more than one of the same coupon with this wording in a visit and everyone seems to be okay with it.

This is a good deal on these though. Even if you can only do one per trip to the store.

You buy one RITZ cracker box and pay for only ONE box but you get 2 total boxes of ritz crackers and 1 box of crackerfuls. About $1 a box.

If you are in a true bogo area. If not you get a good deal but not 3 for the price of 1.

As for all other words 1 per transaction is still one per transaction whether you have 3 kids with you or 10. The wording is getting weirder and weirder on coupons lately!

What I keep trying to figure out is why the manufacturers care how many coupons you use? I mean, I can understand a store limiting the number of those q's you use- it's up to their discretion whether you use 1 or 5 or 50, but what difference does it make to the manufacturer?

Be that as it may- these crackerful thingees are really, really good. :) Like a grown-up's cheese and cracker. mmmmmmmm.

A BOGO = Half Price Sale
$1.50 Ritz
$1.49 Ritz
$2.99 Crackers
less $2.99 Crackers
=
$2.99 for all three plus tax ($1 each)


No Difference.


However - those whose BOGO = Half Price would fare batter

$1.50 Ritz
$2.99 Crackers
less $2.99 Crackers
=
$1.50 for two plus tax ($0.75 each)

When the free wyb wheat things coupon came out I stopped at the customer service desk and read the wording to the lady and asked if I could get two in one transaction and she said yes. It never hurts to ask!

Amy, you are right and thanks for point that out to me. I'm a dork! I'm so used to the 3 for 1 not in my half price sale that I jumped to that point. Now I wish I didn't use my qs already!

Here's a question. Can you use one Free Crackerfuls and one Free Wheat Thins in the same transaction?

YMMV - I would think. I don't see anything in the wording that would NOT allow this, but . . .

But it will beep because the free coupon is tied to the Ritz, so one will go through and the other will beep - and knowing how the stores are, that will confuse them and they wont allow it.

However:

$2.99 Ritz (or $1.50)
$0.00 Ritz (or $1.49)
$2.99 Wheat Thins
$2.99 Crackers
less WT
less C
=
$2.99 for 4 boxes ($0.75 each)

In this example it doesn't matter if it is true bogo or half price.


If your store allows it, the the half price sale will fare better $1.50/3 boxes.
