$1/3 q question

My publix rings up Bogo items like this:

then the second item is taken off. I have a $1/3 q for the tuna fish so would I need to buy 6 of them?

IMO it would make the best value if you have two $1/3 coupons and buy 6. (assuming the price is the up to savings price in ad $3.29)
Item 1 $3.29
Item 2 Free BOGO
Item 3 $3.29 (can use $1/3)
Item 4 Free BOGO
Item 5 $3.29
Item 6 Free BOGO (can use $1/3)

$9.87-$2 (2-$1/3 Q)= $7.87

If you were to use only 1 of the $1/3 you must buy 3 to use coupon, but at least take the fourth one that would be free anyway.
$6.58- $1/3 Q = $5.58
