Default How many with Hunt's BOGO Q and Publix Hunt's BOGO deal?

I received my ConAgra coupon book today (and my neighbor gave me hers too!). There is a BOGO q for Hunt's canned tomatoes. Today is the last day (here) for Publix BOGO on the same product.

Can someone help me understand how to use these coupons? I have 4 coupons. I remember the B2G1 Dr. Pepper q (used 2 of them) netted me a total of 6 when they were BOGO. For some reason, I am thinking I could get a total of 8 Hunt's today, but that doesn't seem right when I have more q's.

THANK YOU!!!!!

Your booklet had 2 coupons for Hunts tomatoes? My booklet had the BOGO for the tomatoes but the other BOGOF coupon was for the Hunt's pasta sauce. In any case, the use of a BOGOF coupon with a BOGOF sale will get you two free products in Florida.

Yep, you're right, one for pasta sauce and one for tomatoes. My bad. I noticed it was for different ounces, but didn't realize the product was different.

On the off chance that the pasta sauce is included in the BOGO when I get there, does that mean that that I could buy 4 and get 8 more for a total of 12?

Or, if the pasta sauce is not included and I use just the 2 BOGO q's, that I would buy 2 and get 4 more for a total of 6?

Just seemed low since the Dr. Pepper deal, I bought 1 and came home with 6. and that was a B2G1, not even BOGO.

DP was a different deal. the coupons was buy 2 get 1 free. Your coupon is b1 get 1 free.

BOGO you will get both items for free when item is bogo and you use a bogo coupon. (florida)

If pasta sauce is included and you have 2 BOGOF coupons for both the sauce and tomatoes then you would get 4 free cans of pasta sauce and 4 free cans of tomatoes.

If pasta sauce is not included you would still get 4 cans with your 2 pasta sauce coupons but you'd be paying for two of them.

Wow, this has hurt my head! I think I have it figured out now. I know the Dr.P deal was different, but this q is more valuable (only have to buy one, as opposed to two) so I just wasn't understanding why you were going home with less.

I reread the Dr. Pepper thread - here is most of what I based my logic on:

Use two B2G1 free 8-pk Dr Pepper Publix q's form the Fire Up the Grill flyer.
The sale automatically takes off three of the cases for the BOGO.
You pay for one case at $2.99 and get 5 free.

Item 1 $2.99 You pay for this one
Item 2 $2.99 Free due to BOGO promotion
Item 3 $2.99 Free with B2G1 Publix store coupon
Item 4 $2.99 Free with B1G1 promotion
Item 5 $2.99 Free with B1G1 promotion
Item 6 $2.99 Free with B2G1 Publix store coupon

Mfrs for Dr Pepper (not Pepsi) can be used in addition.

You'll only give yourself a headache if you try to figure it out deeper than that. :-)

SO, based on the above, I came up with this:

Item 1 $1.39 You pay for this one
Item 2 $1.39 Free due to BOGO promotion
Item 3 $1.39 Free with B1G1 mfg. coupon
Item 4 $1.39 Free with BOGO promotion
(stop here or continue with another BOGO coupon)
Item 5 $1.39 Free with B1G1 mfg. coupon
Item 6 $1.39 Free with BOGO promotion

For each coupon, you pay for one item and walk out with 4. 2 coupons would allow you to pay for 1 and walk out with 6. (Or you could just pay for 2 and walk out with 8 (basically the first deal - twice), but I don't think that's as good a deal. If the pasta sauce is BOGO also, I could double the deal (buy 2, go home with 12) or just leave it as buying one and go home with 10 (items 5 & 6 above would be repeated as 7 & 8 and 9 & 10).

Does this sound right? NRPEACE17 was the one who first gave us the Dr. Pepper chart. Does this sound right to you?

Thanks again! This BOGO stuff really muddles my brain!

if an item is on sale bogo and you have a bogo coupon then you get two items free. Period. (if you live in Florida)
The manufacturer's coupon pays for one and the store sale pays for the other.

B2G1s and B3G1s and all other combinations are a whole other animal.

This is actually what I did yesterday but in it's simplest form the bogo q with a bogo sale nets 2 free items.
