Do you know where the stands are in Deerfield? I looked last Thursday and could not find any. I am near Hillsboro. Thank you
I realize this is for a specific area but maybe it helps someone. Every Thursday the Deerfield Beach Observer comes out. Its a free newspaper scattered throughout the city.
I picked one up yesterday and was happy to see a $3 off your purchase of $30 or more coupon. The coupon is on the bottom of page 9.
"Limit one deal per coupon per customer. Excluding all tobacco, alcohol, lottery, money orders, postage stamps, gift cards, and prescriptions. Customer is responsible for taxes. Non-transferable. Effective only at your neighborhood Publix through July 16, 2009." LU #541.
Happy shopping.

I pick up the Observer right outside my condo, they leave some in the lobby every week.
I checked online though and found you this...click on the link and you will find every location for Observers.
The Observer is available at over 70 locations in 5 cities!
Hi! Wow.. 3 of us in the same area! =) Glad to see others like me are nearby! Just thought I'd say Hi and glad to know I'm not alone in DFB!
Hello Aquene27. Glad to know you are in the area.
A couple random things:
I've found the most coupon-friendly Publix in the area is on Hillsboro/Lyons. Their manager, Larry Cole, is always available to solve any problems and told me once on the phone he clips coupons himself.
Go to elsentinel.com. You can sign up for a the FREE Saturday edition of the Spanish Sun-Sentinel. Why? It comes with all of Sunday's coupons...for free...to your front door.
Click on this link:
Southflorida.elsentinel.com : Sur De La Florida
Towards the top left you will see where it says in red: El Sentinel Subscripcion Gratuita Presione Aqui. (free subscription)
This link takes you there too:
Southflorida.elsentinel.com : Sur De La Florida
It asks for name, address, apartment #, county, zip code and phone number. Then hit "enviar" to submit.
I did this about a month ago and have received the paper every Saturday. (they either don't print other editions or they don't offer those for free) I haven't received any spam, telemarketing or propaganda from them...so it seems pretty legit.
You also get the Target circular a day early too in El Sentinel. (the Target on Hillsboro/Powerline has had some great deals recently)
that you all for the tips! I just signed up for elsentinel!!
I noticed when I got my El Sentinel this past Saturday, it did NOT contain the $2.50 off Electrosol coupon or the buy-a-women's-razor-get-free-shave-gel coupon. So it looks like they don't provide the "premium" coupons.
I picked up a few El Nuevo Heralds instead. Remember that the Miami Herald and El Nuevo Herald only cost 50 cents on Saturday and contain all the Sunday coupons as well.
El Nuevo Herald subscription is 77 cents a weekend, so you would get 2 papers with coupon inserts delivered for only 77 cents. (I think the Miami Herald is slightly more expensive to deliver)
Happy shopping!
Thanks, Taco, for the tip about El Sentinel. I have grabbed copies of it when I've found it at boxes (in particular, whenever I'm at the airport) but never even thought to subscribe.
FYI: The Sun-Sentinel has a great deal going on right now for new subscribers (those who haven't received home delivery in the past 30 days). Six months of 7-day service for $26, Thurs-Sun for $20, or Sat-Sun for $10. The offer code is DIREDEAL. (Looks like you can do this online, by mail, or by phone.)
That's less than $0.50/week for the Sat/Sun service.
Deal good through August 15, 2009. There are some restrictions (such as, the subscription will continue at the regular rate after the six months is up - though you should be able to cancel subscription at that time to avoid further charges).
I don't usually buy the paper...I just get the free coupons from the Delray Forum/Boynton Forum, but for this price, I'll sign up! The Sun-Sentinel has the best coupons in South Florida, I think.
