Publix in Miami, FL will only take 1 coupon on BOGO

:shrug7:My Publix here in Miami, will not take a 2nd coupon on the "Free" product. I tried the Customer service manager, asking about using 2 coupons on the "two for the price of one promotion", he was quick to correct me with "it is: Buy one get one FREE"; because the 2nd product is free, he will not take the 2nd coupon, that will take the price below $0.00. Even a manufacturer coupon, will reduce his price below zero. Is this just Miami? I believed that manufacturer coupons were rebates from the manufacturer, am I right? tyia

Yes, you are right. Try a different Publix if possible. Coupon policies vary even within the same district. :shrug7:

I am in Tamarac, FL and there are 3 publix in my immediate area they all accept the 2nd q on the free item. If it is not a drag, shop at another location.

I'm in Sarasota and all the Publix in my area will take 2 mfg q's and a publix q if one is out there.

You need to contact corporate with HIS name. He will get into trouble for telling you that as that is NOT Publix's policy. As long as the item is scanned, it is eligible for a coupon.

Oh no no no. Publix policy is to accept a coupon for each item. I suggest that you email Publix and get their policy in writing (for future reference) and contact them about that particular store so they can be educated on a corporate wide policy. I've had some problems before about cashiers saying I didn't buy the second item to use the q on, but once I whip out the policy the customer service people side with me. I live in Miami and I have the same problem with the Publix is Miami Shores.
After alot of problem with using coupons I now shop by my office in Miramar (3 of them in the area).

A couple of times in Miramar stores the cashier say "No" to 2 coupons for BOGO sale items but then I ask them to ask the manager and the manager saids "Yes" they are allowed to take 2 coupons.

Once the customer service person said "No" too and when I saw the manager they said she was incorrect.

I suggest emailing Publix and seeing what they say.
I did this for the internet printable because one store won't take them (Miami Shores again!)

Not only email corporate..... the devil in me says, "Okay, then we'll just ring them all up on separate orders and do it that." And then actually write out a check for the tax on all your orders.

I live in PSL ,FLorida and all the publix by me will take 2 MFQ for BOGO items. Sometimes and I mean its very,very rare that a cashier will question why I am using 2 MFQ for a BOGO sale. But I have NEVER been told that they do not accept 2 MFQ for BOGO.

Call corporate, give them the store number, name of person. Make sure you ask for the customer rep's name and carry their 800 number with you. If you HAVE to call corporate from Publix, do it.

I know this one cashier that always lingers around me when I check out because it makes her insane that I get stuff cheap or free.But she knows the store policy and has never refused a MFQ

I have shopped at many stores in my area (Tampa Bay) and have never had an issue with using 2 coupons on a BOGO sale....expect for last night when I went to get the Starbucks ice cream, I stopped at a store I don't usually shop in and the cashier did not want to take the 2nd coupon - she kept telling me that I was already getting a great deal with using 1 coupon on the deal and I told her that it was a better deal using 2 coupons - finally the manager came over and after a couple of minutes asking questions decided to take all of them. I was frustrated after a long day and by the cashiers attitude, I didn't realize that she missed 1 coupon. I know I won't be shopping at that location anytime soon.
