You never know when they will take 2 coupons. I emailed corporate so that each individual manager can reply with their policy. In theory, the one at Biscayne Blvd. close to a Costco will not take 2 coupons. However, I have had 2 cashiers that have accepted 2 coupons during that promotion. Only once have I had a cashier who did not take 2. At the Miami Gardens, it always depends on the cashier as well. I have not gotten a policy from them in writing yet. The one at Loehmans Plaza will take 2 coupons, as per manager, however, I have always had to fight those cashiers who will not know their policy. So, in essence, it is too stressful for me to shop at Publix. I have stopped buying there, only because I never know if the cashier will be in the mood to take 2 coupons. I dont have the patience nor the time to call the manager and fight over my purchase and coupons. Only one customer service manager at Loehmans was kind enough to tell me to look for her anytime I had a problem. I have yet to get the policy at Miami Gardens, most cashiers take matters in their hands and make the policy as they go. I have even had one who always scan less coupons than I give her. Most cashiers are jealous to see how much money one save. |

i've never had a problem with my publix (tampa bay area) accepting two coupons on BOGO's. my favorite cashier is always so excited when i save so much. we are a training store though so that might help in folks knowing the policies really well.

Like 10 coupons then 10 more etc... Today I had about 30 + coupons and I made sure I had each one wrinkled so they cant say "OOps it must have gotten stuck" I mean skipping 2-3 coupons?? not. I also know 2 cashiers that are really pissy when they see me get freebies or close to free stuff. Last one made a comment about all the detergent...I just grinned and did not reply. That freaked her out lol. My sister lives in Miami and she has had big issues at Albertsons ,they wont take 2 MFQ for BOGO ever! But my Albertsons always accepts 2 MFQ for BOGO sales. Corporate was called and they agreed with the store! lol I just dont get how one Publix or Albertsons can have totally different policies. Gennel |

It is good to know that you are not alone.
I now want to believe that the store manager was backing his employees, with his support.
My tale go on, last Sunday I gave the cashier two $1 off coupons for the Arm & Hammer Toothpaste BOGO (making it 50 cents per, a great buy). So, morihuel, you are right it may depends on who is the cashier, and for me it looks most likely that the younger ones don’t question the customer’s motive.
I am starting to consider that some of the personnel at Publix and in general Miami’s retailers go by the maxim that the customer is always trying to take advantage of cheat them. Because some Publix cashier will question the “Homemade” coupons, and call over their supervisor, which have been approving the internet coupons. |

Some Publix's here in Miami are great, others just make you lose your religion. My favorite Publix here in Miami to shop at is the one by Mall of America (coupon and cashier/manager friendly), the one near my job in Doral off of 97th ave and 41st St, and the best one yet is the one on SW 7th street near 2nd ave. I know, I know these are probably not in your area. I have tried all the others; in Aventura, the one by Costco and the one on 90th and biscayne and 41st and biscayne. They suck and are not coupon friendly, the cashiers dont know Publix accepts Winn Dixie coupons. So, for a little distance from my home, it's worth it to go to my favorite stores. I even like going over to the ones on the beach. |
