I use FLIPS at all the stores i go to. They usually ask CS about it, but i have never been denied. I looked up before i used one the first time, where the closest one is to us, just in case someone asked, and i think the closest one is in Deltona, but i just say up north a bit.
The Publix on Lake Washington/Wickham definately takes Target coupons. I use them at the store on 192, but sometimes the cashiers have told me they don't, but one of the female managers told me herself, that they do. So there ya go! | I've asked about using the BJ's coupons at IHB, Satellite, and Post Rd. Publix and all 3 have said yes as long as it's off any size and they carry the product :) After all, BJ's IS a competitor and BJ's stacks coupons better than Publix does!! I just need to motivate myself to actually go to BJs more...it's right next to where DD does swim but yet I hardly ever go.
Oh, and yay on the FLIPS! I haven't ever tried to use them but now I might. I didn't know that there were any Food Lion stores in FL.

Thanks for all the info. Yeah i looked on the map, there are quite a few Food Lions florida, and the closest ones to us are in deltona and new smyrna beach. They are not real close, by any means. but the one CS manager i asked, didn't really care. | No, because BJs coupons scan and are actually manufacturer coupons themselves. I initially thought that BJs were "store" coupons and I do think that that is how Publix views them, but after asking on here the concensus was that BJ's were actually manufacturer coupons that Publix regards as a store coupon and that they shouldn't be stacked. You can stack them with a Publix coupon if your Publix allows it, though.
Interesting about the Food Lion coupons...I'll give it a try! |

I didn't argue about it--I had "stolen" a pretty good bit that trip and they don't get reiembursed for the competitors, I tend to use alot of food lion and target with the manufact Q's so I told them to keep the sodas (we dont drink them, they were for company) and they lost about a 25.00 sale for a 2.00 Q. It REALLY wasn't a big deal to me since like I said we don't even drink it | You should email Publix corporate. I'll bet you dollars to donuts that they will have the Titusville store manager call you and that the store manager will probably be appalled that one of his employees refused to regard BJs as a competitor. At least give the store manager the benefit of deciding if BJs is a competitor and "reeducating" his employees if he thinks that it is. There is a BJs in Merritt Island for goodness sakes. It IS their competitor, bigtime! Heck, BJs is where I shopped before I found out that Publix took competitor coupons and where I'll shop again if my Publix starts refusing to take BJs coupons. Interesting that yours will take Target and FoodLion coupons, though...mine won't take Target coupons and the IHB one won't even stack Publix and manufacturer coupons.
Anyways, I emailed Publix to clarify the competitor coupon policy and they had the store manager of the IHB store call me. He assured me that his store regarded BJs as a competitor and would be taking their coupons. Thus far they have. He also assured me that his store would take Target coupons, though, and they sure as heck have refused to take those from me so I don't know what gives. |

I may have to try the one on Post though and see what happens. | GEEZE I'd say they were a comepitor! ESPECIALLY for you being the Super Target is RIGHT THERE!! I'd call corporate AND talk with the store mngr. |
