My Publix accept wags $ off $$, do you think they'll take a cvs one?

I got a cvs 5off 30. coupon emailed to me and I can't figure out a good scenerio for using it at CVS, but I am positive I will hit the $30 mark at Publix this week...should I try it?

If they take Walgreens as a competitor, they will probably accept CVS. It's worth asking at Customer Service.

Keep in mind that the WAGS RRs state manufacturer coupon on them, the CVS ones are store coupons, so my guess would be no. Never hurts to ask though!

I have wanted to ask this before. so, If I have a $10 WAGS RR I can just give it to the Publix cashier at check out and they will take it off the total? (If my publix accepts them that is)

Publix will just think of it as if it was like a $10 off $50 Q like Winn Dixie has?

I would think so as long as you have a CVS within reasonable distance..... you're lucky my Publix will only take "traditional grocery store" coupons as comp coupons :( :( :(

I've only gotten in on the whole competitor coupon at Publix thing in the last week or so, but I used a $/$$ CVS coupon at Publix the other day and the cashier took it with no hesitation.

We don't get the benefit of double coupons, I'm getting all the mileage I can out of competitor coupons!

No Publix should technically be taking any drug store coupons. If you can get your store to take them, thats great but it probably wont last long.

Since my earlier post, several cashiers in my store have made it a point to mention that drug store coupons are included when they talk about competitor coupons, so it's not been a matter of convincing them to take them. My store seems to be really aggressively "advertising" that they take such coupons because cashiers mention it so often. If a nearby drug store sells groceries and Publix has a pharmacy, I don't know why they wouldn't be valid competitors. Or are you suggesting that there is a corporate policy with regard to drug store coupons and that employees are breaking it?

I do fully support any company or individual store setting its own limits about what they consider a competitor, and playing by whatever rules are in place. I'm not ready to buy into the "no Publix should..." thing, though, any more than I think every Publix should have to take every coupon.

I think the corporate "guidance" to each store on competitors is any "traditional" grocery store within 5 miles. That's what one store manager told me corporate told him. So he doesn't accept any drug store coupons. Another nearby Publix says "we take em all".

My store is a take 'em all store, apparently. They even take competitor coupons for stores that don't even exist in my area. I only know this because they constantly mention it.
