Orlando area Publix shoppers: does your store accept WAG RR as competitors' coupons?

Since the acceptance of non traditional competitors' coupons is decided on a store to store basis per management, please check in if your Orlando or surrounding area store accepts WAG RR's as competitors' coupons per management decision. I know that in many other region stores such as in GA, this is done commonly, but would like to find out which Central Fl stores might accept them also.

All of the ones I go to do not accept them as they do not consider Wags a competitor...sorry.:sad:

I have used RR's per Manager approval, this is in Kissimmee.

I asked CS one time and was told no. I may check back with a manager though and see what they say. It would be great if they would take them.

used $10 RR at Spring Hill, FL Publix and a Hudson Publix. My sister used it at Sweetbay. We used as a manufacture coupon not as a competitor. Scans perfectly. (this was with CS approval) HTH

Thanks for reporting in and clarifying that it was with CS approval. They may scan at Publix, but most stores don't take them since they most likely won't be reimbursed for them. This is why they are normally accepted as competitors' coupons, if at all.

It amazes me that Publix will take Walgreens coupons as competitor coupons but yet won't take Target/Supertarget coupons. Supertarget IS a grocery store whereas Walgreens isn't.

No Publix should be taking Walgreens. I can tell you for a fact none in the orlando area will.

Totally Agree! Although my Publix won't take Wags Q anymore (despite having 2 wags within 1/10 of a mile of them) I can not understand why the same Publix will not take Target coupons with a Supertarget within the same distance. And it is quite foolish as I happened to be in Supertarget and found many of their food items are actually cheaper, especially when you add in their coupon! As much as I love Publix, I will probably be splitting some of my shopping to Target in the future.
