The issue is you do not get a true BOGO free as we do in FL. You get half price. The bonus is you can buy just one on a BOGO if you would like where we have to buy two. This reason your check out was higher was the B2G1 coupon is for half the price $1.50 vs. the full price $2.99
Your ring up is
1. $1.50
2. $1.50
3. $1.50
4. $1.50
5. $1.50
6. $1.50
minus $2 peelie
minus $2 peelie
minus $1.50 B2G1 free
minus $1.50 B2G1 free
Total $2
But you could have bought just 3 cases
[Mod edit: This scenario is invalid because the $2 peelie is off 2 12-pack or 3 8-pack. I'm leaving the post in tact so the posts after it make sense, though]
1. $1.50
2. $1.50
3. $1.50
minus $2 peelie
minus $2 peelie
minus $1.50 B2G1 free
You would then have a $1 MM.
Here is FL the ring up is
1. $2.99
2. Free
3. $2.99
4. Free
5. $2.99
6. Free
you would have only been able to use one $2 peelie number 1 would be minuse $2
minus $2.99 B2G1 Free number 3 would then be free
minus $2.99 B2G1 Free number 5 would then be free
So 6 pks would have been $0.99

I guess that's where my confusion was, then. I wasn't sure if they would ring up like that when the price is just half off and I was thinking that I'd just basically thrown away a $2 peelie. Even if I buy just three, though, I won't be able to use but one $2 peelie since it specifies two 12-packs or three 8-packs which would bring me still to $1 for three or $2 for six. Not a bad deal at all, but I was sure I was doing it wrong or that I should have had them rung up differently.
Thanks!
