So I'm planning my trip to Publix using the first grocery store coupons I've ever used in my life! I only started getting them from the papers last week, so I have 2 sets of RP and SS from 5/3 (I think I got those acronyms right). Here's what I'm planning to get, is there anything that I'm missing? Something that I can get a good deal on with the minimum of coupons that I have?
Juicy Juice 100% Premium Juice; Assorted Varieties,64-oz bottle BOGO $3.65
Print $1/1
Post Cereal; Assorted Varieties, Selects, 13 to 16-oz. Trail Mix Crunch, 17-oz, Grape Nuts, 17 to 24-oz, or Grape Nuts Flakes, 18-oz box BOGO $3.99
-$2/1 IP Post Trail Mix Crunch (supposed to be reset, but is problematic)
Glass Plus Glass & Multi-Surface Cleaner 32oz Bottle BOGO $2.49
-$1/1 PRINT
Jell-O Snacks; Assorted Varieties, 6-pk 3.25 to 4-oz cup 3 for $6.00
-$.60/1 PRINT
Healthy Choice Meal; Assorted Varieties, 9.5 to 12.3-oz box 4 for $10
-$1/1 PRINT
Kashi Cereal or Granola, Assorted Varieties 7.5 to 17.5-oz box 2 for $5.00
-$1/1 Honey Sunshine PRINT -$1/1 PRINT
I actually don't seem to be using any of my own coupons with this, but that's ok, I'll save 'em up! And there is not Food Lion anywhere near me, so I assume they won't take those instant print ones (FLIP?)
Any advice, tips, or anything else for me would be great! I read the beginners FAQ which was very helpful, but hopefully there are some savvy Publix shoppers out there willing to help me out!
Last question.... since the Publix ads seem to start on Wednesdays (never knew that!), does someone do another matchup with the coupons that are in today's paper? That matchup is exceptionally helpful!
Thanks!

Don't be too impressed there weren't very many and I had the inserts yesterday...so I did it last night![]()
I would definitely ask about the competitors coupons. There is no Food Lion around me, but they still take them, along with all other grocery stores and Target. They no longer take drug store coupons.

Mike,
you need to ask the manager at your Publix who he considers to be a competitor. I shop approx 6 different stores and they all have a different idea of who or what a competitor is. This is very frustrating but that how it is!! So always ask and then play by their rules.
Good luck on your first trip your gonna learn to love PUBLIX![]()
PUNISHMENT

punished with a baby." -President Barack Obama
My Publix (to my surprise) takes FLIPs here in Metro Atlanta where the nearest Food Lion is two to three hours away.
looks good to me. :smile77: ggod luck and dont forget to come back and post your trip in the brag thread.
Hi Ho! Hi Ho! It's back to work I go
Always looking for BTFE's!
So I made my first trip to Publix after my coupon... conversion! I am going to post the specifics of it later and hopefully someone will be generous and look through it to see what else I could have done. In the meantime, I have a potentially stupid question. An item that is BOGO at Publix... can I use two coupons for those items? Assuming, of course, there is no one per transaction limit or anything like that. For example a BOGO at 3.99 item, can I use two $1/1? I assume the answer is no, but just in case!
Thanks!
