    Default Publix coupon question

I'm sure this is posted somewhere but i'm a bit overwhelmed with all the info so please forgive if this is already posted. Does publix take other people's coupons (like target)?

I believe it is a matter of management discretion as to who they consider competitors but many stores do take the target coupons. I know mine does. I would suggest going to customer service and asking whose coupons they will accept.

Hi Rebecca and welcome. Publix does accept competitor coupons which is one of the things that makes it awesome! Target may or may not be considered a competitor by your store so you should ask a manager who counts as a competitor. Most stores accept other nearby grocery stores, some accept Target (especially near a supertarget) and others will even accept CVS, Wags and Rite Aid. Hope that helps!

I read something on ***** that a person went to Publix and was told that it was new corporate policy that they no longer accepted coupons on "free" items. Has anyone else heard anything about this. God help us all if that happens or they stop accepting competitors coupons!!

They won't take completely free printable coupons, for example the Right Guard IP from yesterday.

This policy changed about six months back. Publix stores should be accepting ALL IP coupons up to $5.00 in value regardless of whether they are cents off or free.
