Publix ~ Weekly ad with coupon match ups 2/18/09 - 2/24/09 (2/19/09- 2/25/09 in some areas)

So, this is how this works?? Hmmmm. I always thought the peelies just came on the boxes from the manufacturer??----The store actually puts them on the boxes?? I wonder when, and if there is a pattern, and why???---we need an insider to give us the Real scoop on this. I am just nosy, and it would be nice to know when they put them out, how often, why and on which kellogg's cereals. So, if there are any insiders out there that know the real info.....SPILL the beans!!! LOL.

I didn't realize it at first either but one day I found the whole roll of peelies for free kraft cheese when you buy 2 nabisco crackers just laying near the display. I have also read about people watching employees putting them onto boxes while they were shopping.

Using the $5/3 competitor's coupon, Johnsonville Gameday Sweepstakes, they're 3 for 3.97. I don't know what these usually run on a *good* ad, but that seemed decent to me.

In my publix in Holly Hill and Ormond Beach Florida there are blinkies in the aisle for .55 /2 Green Giant 50% less salt canned vegtables .GG canned vegtables are bogo at 1.29 this week .In the 3 stores I have been to here the 50% less salt corn is also bogo , so by using 10 of the .55/2 + the Publix $5 off any 20 items coupon I bought 20 cans of corn for 2.90 at 2 different stores :)

If anyones lucky enough to be in an area where other 50% less salt GG veggies are included in the bogo sale as well please let us know !

FINALLY I am gonna get a canned bean stock pile! I am sooooooooo excited. And get to add a dozen cans of Muir Glen tomato sauce to my dwindling stock pile. I only have 8 cans left!

I am getting over not being able to get more broth. I still have over 30 boxes from the College Inn BOGO.

It might not be such a great bean stock pile after all. I am reading over in the viva italian thread that the $5/20 products can't be used with the other publix q's that came out in todays SS insert.

Progresso black beans are $.89 each and the other varieties are 3/$2. There are $1/4 Publix q's in todays SS insert and there are $5/ wyb 20 specific products (progresso beans are one of them) at the stores in the vivia italian displays.

Progresso soup is on sale for $1.25 a can. Use the $1.10 IP and get soup for .15 which was great for me as is. But on the cans were $1 off label manu. peelies for any refrigerated Pillsbury italian bread product. Pillsbury stuff is on sale this week at Kroger for $1, and are $1.67 at Publix. Personally, I was lazy and just got the one at Publix.

So for .82 I got a can of Progresso and a roll of pizza crust to use later. Not a bad deal I didnt think :o) Plus it counts towards the italian sale too I believe
