Here's another scenario:
2 Prog Black Beans .89 X 2 = $1.78
2 Prog Red Kidney Beans .67 X 2 = $1.34

$3.12 - $1/4 Publix Prog store coupon - $1/2 X 2 ($2) mfr = .12 for 4 cans.

I think you are misunderstanding. You can't use the
$5 off the Purchase of any 20 of the following General Mills Products Publix store coupon along with the recent Publix store coupons in the Sunday's insert ( $1/2 Muir Glen, $1/4 Progresso, $1/3 Green Giant, $1/1 Pillsbury) on the very same items. You can always use a $'s off your total order coupon along with other Publix store coupons in the same order.

Exactly, I don't have this coupon but going by what I've read here it sounds like it's $5 off when you buy 20 of these products which makes it a store coupon and you can't use 2 store coupons for the same items. Now, if this was a $5/$20 then you could use it.

I had originally posted that link but found out that the coupon was no longer available. If it isn't expired and you have it printed, you could certainly use it as a competitor's coupon if your store allows it.

The black beans were $.67 for me yesterday! So if you store allows overage you can do the scenario you listed and get a bit of overage
