What makes good filler at Publix?

I should have read this post yesterday. I went to Publix today and had too many coupons, and they wouldn't let me us them all, so I gave up.

I just noticed the $5/$25 q from Whole Foods and I really want to use it tomorrow. I know I can get a ton more of the butter as long as they have it and I have some free Baby Club qs but I still need about $5 more worth of stuff to use the q. Any good fillers for little or no additional oop money??

I got several of the Muir Glen tomato sauces today-they were about 85 cents and I had the IP's for $1 off any Muir Glen product. Sorry, I don't know if the q's are still available but this is the only thing I can think of off the top of my head.

How about the French's and Pedigree Good Bites frees? There are Sundown vitamins in the $3 range and we have a $3 mfr. Also, there are links to Cheerios single serve which are 2/$1.19 less the $1/1 IP.

The Celeste Pizza is a really good deal. Plus, for every two you buy, you have one filler.

Check out the clearance. There have been a lot of clearance items that make a good filler.

As for the yogurt, I'm pretty sure you can only use one FLIP. But, if you buy 5, you'll have 3 fillers and only pay $0.50 for them.

16ct. Lipton tea bags are $1.09 and there are .50/1 Qs from a recent insert or $1/1 Target IPs.

Reps to everyone I could! I wasn't able to use the Whole Foods q after all though. At first they said they just weren't taking it, then they said they could, then they said it would have to be AFTER coupons. Ugg. The manager said that was corporate's policy. Is it? They are still getting the money for the products so I don't really understand why they have to do it that way. I've used other $/$$ qs there w/ no problem.

I'm sorry your Manager wasn't cooperative. That is his policy, not Corporate policy. This coupon had no verbiage about it being after coupons, like the Albertson's ones do. It seems to me that he was trying to find reasons not to accept it.

I have been successful holding onto my receipt, calling corporate and taking the receipt back into either another store or another manager and have been refunded every time!!

Hmm maybe I should try that. I called corporate about it and the woman told me she would have the district manager call me about it. I still haven't heard so I might call him.
