Publix ~ Ad with match ups 1/28/09 - 2/3/09 (1/29/09 - 2/4/09 in some areas)

I was told by a meat man that Petite Sirloin is trimmed up Top Sirloin. They usually give me the Top Sirlon fillets, which are roughly the size of the Petite Sirlon steaks that are sold at Albertsons. I find Publix's to be a much better quality. The ones I got at Alberstons were tough.

Petitie is what Albertsons calls it and most of the stores by me said that if the coupon isn't word for word to what the packaging says, I cant use it. I am able to use the boneless skinless chicken coupons but all the other meat cuts seem to be unique to Albertsons. I called corporate about it and they said the same thing... it has to be word for word to the coupon. Also it depends on what cashier I get as to whether they put up a fuss or not. I figure if one says no, I will go to another store (I have a ton around me)

Does Publix carry a Boneless Seasoned Chicken breast?
I haven't seen that in any of my stores.
Corporate will usually back the Manager and leave the decision up to them on the store level, so I just go to coupon friendly store managers and ask directly. If the Manager ok's it then the rest of the employees will fall into line.

I've seen the seasoned chicken at some stores here in FL. Our big Publix on University (in Sarasota) carries a variety seasoned and stuffed oven ready chicken breasts. Also the stores on the islands often carry these types of convenience foods.
