I too believe it is still up to each store. Went to a store in Bloomingdale that I rarely go to and Asst. CS mgr was at the register and said I could not combine them. Said they were told this as of the first of the year. I didn't push it since they are still taking both at the Temple Terrace store and the Riverview store. Just combined the Pam q's in TT store yesterday.

Come up to Brunswick! I NEVER have any problems with the cashiers or managers. In fact, on manager is A DOLL when it comes to q's.

A while back, the domino sugar was on sale for 1.99. I had .50/1 (doubled) so it made each bag .99.
They were out :( He said they didn't even know when more would be so a raincheck wasn't very helpful either. Anyways, they were subsituting the domino with publix brand and get this...

He insisted I use the coupons anyway. I did question the legality of that (especially reimbursment reasons) and he instructed the cashier to tear them in half after scanning. He just put a note in her drawer (i guess so it would balance).

Point being, its a great store! Almost ALWAYS well stocked, friendly and VERY clean :)

What he did in essence was to give you a Publix discount equal to the mfr coupons. That's good PR since it wouldn't have been legal to process the mfrs for the Publix brand. :)

I spoke to Corporate (Lakeland Office) and to the store manager in Auburndale and was told by both that they have not changed their policy about the use of coupons, but since the store coupons are decided by the manufacturers, the manufacturers are now saying that it is "Coupon Stacking" to use a store coupon in conjunction with a manu coupon. The Manager I spoke to today stated that all of the stores have been informed it all depends on how they handle it individually. He said that all of the store should be following the same guidelines. Steve also said he'd try to get a web address for me that shows it's not just a Publix policy but also the law. ?????? I guess I'll wait till I get another call from him and let you all know the website.

I also questioned the calendars, he was going to call "PATTY" at corporate, she is the lady in charge of that department and was going to go ahead and order 25 for his store and be sure that I get one mailed to me. So for all of you looking for calendars still, don't be afraid to email corporate to have them mailed to you.

I had no problem using both coupons at a Publix in Coconut Creek, FL.

I was able to get Gatorade for 10 cents! The 32 oz are
on sale for $1. There is a Publix 55 cent off coupon in their monthly flyer...and in the Gatorade section they had STACKS of 35 cents off tearpads.

The cashier took both coupons fine. I bough a few bottles and plan on going back today for more. For the locals, the store in on Lyons/Hillsboro. Go enjoy some 10 cent gatorade.

I recently had this problem at my store in Kennesaw, GA. I was told originally that I could use a Publix & manufacturers coupon. I emailed corporate who referred the email to the customer service manager. I spoke to the assistant manager who is a dream. She explained that I could use both with the same item and would have a meeting with the cashiers. So for about 2 weeks it was fine. Then I started having problems again. I spoke face to face with the new Store Manager & Asst Store Mgr. They both advised me it was fine and that they knew me by face. The Store Mgr told me if I had any problems to have them call him. Then 2 more wks of ok, then more problems. The most recent issue is that the Asst Grocery Mgr told me I can't have more coupons than the number of items I buy. So now I'm all confused again and the rumor makes it about as clear as mud. I'm going over there tomorrow so I'll get the dirt and send an update. :shrug7::shrug7::shrug7:
