Re: Canada Dry Question
You can't take home five for the price of one. If you apply the Food Lion coupon to items 2&3, based on the purchase of item 1, then item 1 can't be counted as a qualifier for the B3G2 Publix coupon.
Some people would say that you can take home six for the price of two, though. This is called piggybacking and is one of those fuzzy areas where the cashier/manager may not agree. The theory is that while item 1 can't be used as a qualifier for the next coupon, items 2&3 are now "bought" and can be used as qualifiers. You then apply the Publix coupon to items 5 and 6, based on the purchase of items 2, 3, and 4.
item 1
items 2 & 3 - B1G2 coupon on items 2&3, based on purchase of item 1
item 4
items 5&6 - B3G2 coupon on items 5&6, based on purchase of items 2, 3, and 4
