It is amazing what my kids will eat, but to me, it is even more amazing what they WON'T eat in light of what they WILL eat! Do they honestly think boogers taste better than a green bean?!!!

I honestly think it is a personal preference- I picked up a carton of the lactose free milk today and think it tastes great (husband agrees, and he is uber picky!) It is a great deal for me considering that the lactose free milk is usually slightly pricey, and it is all that I can drink!

We liked the milk so I went out and got 6 more. We don't go thru it fast for some reason lately so I have 8 in the freezer and 1 in the frig.

For those who have used this milk before, or use it regularly - a question:

I picked up a Lactose Free and a 2% this week. They both have expiration dates in early January. Now, we have the remainders of a gallon of regular milk in the fridge still and the kids and I are leaving on Thursday for approximately one week. The idea is that we'll use the Smart Balance milk when we get back...probably mid- to late-mid-December.

Does anyone have experience with the Smart Balance milk expiration dates? Do you think the milk will really be okay for that long in my refrigerator? (Unopened, of course.) Or do you think I should toss them in the freezer instead and thaw them when I get back? And does anyone have any experience using frozen/thawed SB milk?

Thanks!
