Birmingham/Hoover NEW STORE opens Wednesday

For those nearby, I drove through the lot of the new store on Hwy 31 just south of the I-65 interchange and saw a sign on the door, they open Wednesday. What can I expect at a new store opening?

Oooh I can go on Wednesday during my lunch hour. Thanks! When they opened one in Trussville they gave away lots of food, my mom got a rotisserie chicken!

Exactly where is this store? Is it at the Vestavia Hills exit?
When the Publix in Pelham opened up they gave away reusable bags, flowers, balloons and samples. They also had several displays with tearpad coupons.

It's in Hoover, 1584 Montgomery Highway, Hoover, AL - Google Maps
The sign can be seen from Hwy 31, but it's kinda behind some other stores (I know Starbucks is there, and a Regions Bank). It's on the west side of Hwy 31.

OK, I went this morning, but my screaming baby wouldn't let me finish my shopping so I only got half the items on my list. Get this, a manager actually offered to pull the rest of my items for me! I refuse her because I wanted to cross-check my Q's to make sure I was getting the deals I wanted.

Anyway, they are giving a free shopping tote, free carnation for the ladies, free pharmacy samples (includes a $1.50 off any Colgate Total manufacturer's Q - perfect for a MM at CVS or Rite Aid someday). There is a Q for $1 off any meat purchase on the last page of the grand opening ad in-store. Lots of free samples to eat!
