Default Fresh Turkey and Turkey Breasts $.29 lb

Dropped by Publix today and they were clearing out their fresh turkeys and turkey breasts for $.29 lb. I got 2 breasts for the freezer and 1 whole Butterball to make this weekend. Also, used $1 turkey WT's on each of them. The breasts were $1.67 and $1.61 and whole Butterball was $3.61 minus the 3 - $1 WT's. So, $3.89 plus tax for all of the turkey. I hope your stores still have some. There were several left when I was there around 4 this afternoon.

    Default Holiday Clearance

I don't normally shop Publix's holiday clearance so I have a few questions.

    1. How quickly does it normally get marked down?
    2. Do they mark down holiday packaged food products? (like Oreos)

I want to use the FREE milk wyb 4 nabisco cookies coupons and I'm just trying to determine if Publix marks these down. Also, I want to get the Jello cookie cutters if they are on clearance.

Mine were .69 here. Good for me. Got a Fresh Butterball 14 lb turkey for 9.50. Great in my book! Thanks for headsup.

You got a deep freeze? DH and I also got a deep freeze as a Christmas gift from the in-laws. I thought that I was the only one my age excited about a deep freeze! LOL!! I'm loving it though! Best practical gift I've received in a long time!

What I saw today was mainly the Publix Christmas merchandise at 50% off. Wrapping paper, bows, etc.
One store had quite a selection of Glade candles: Trios, Scented Oil, Plug Ins, Air Infusions in holiday scents, all 50% off.
Some stores have whole Turkeys and Turkey breasts form .29 lb on up clearanced. They normally don't mark down the holiday Oreos and such, Target would be better for that, especially since there is a $1 printable as well.

Yeppers!! I come from a family of 7. My parents have had an extra fridge and an extra freezer my whole life. A fridge freezer is just too small! Hehe. So, I cashed in my credit card rewards for $300 in gift cards to Sears. I bought a $50/$199 Sears Outlet coupon off Ebay. Then, we waited for our local Sears Outlet to get in a chest freezer that we wanted! Well, Wednesday night they had it! we were so excited. We got a $300 freezer for $180 incl tax. It has a little cosmetic damage, but it comes with a full warranty. We live in an apartment and we had to get on small enough to go on our patio w/out it drawing too much attention. So, we only got an 8.8 cu ft one. But I'm super excited to fill it!

My Publix would take the target printable. the problem I have is that my target doesn't sell organic milk in a gallon jug. So, I can't use the free milk wyb 4 nabisco cookies at target.

This is a good deal, but some fresh turkeys have a different texture after they are frozen and then cooked. The meat is a little stringy-er. DH is a meat market manager and we noticed this while stocking up on a similar deal a few years ago. The meat tastes fine, it's just not as "pretty". If we want it to slice nicer we cook it first and then freeze it. I am jealous of your freezers. I am down to the one in the fridge and no room for another. I really miss my old chest freezer !
