If you haven't already, check out the website. The new "rollout" of "Essentials" started yesterday (here). 5lbbag of potatoes, $1.99, Kraft macncheese, 50 cents, whole fryers, 99 cents/lb, and some other good deals, like toothpaste and more. Check out the mainpage www.publix.com for more info.

My family is going to be happy about the mac n cheese - I stocked up a while back on Wacky Mac and they hate it.

What did they hate about the Wacky Mac? I thought it looked cool and wanted to try it, but now maybe I won't.

Yeah, I noticed the new cheapies. I might be making something with potatoes soon!

My manager told me something new every week. I think they are rotating out some every couple weeks...

He said this should go on until at least the end of the year...

Any ideas for the little potatos? I have never cooked with them before.

You can cut them up for stews or soups. They are the same as the ones you can get in the del monte canned potatoes.

We love to cut them up (no peeling necessary), shake them in a Ziploc with olive oil, garlic, and Italian seasonings and roast them in the oven in a greased pan for about 45 minutes! Super easy to do and very good!
