I don't believe she has exceeded the purchase price here.
The Savorings are $3.99 bogo, and the largest mfr q available is for $1. There is no store coupon. The Manager was just not allowing her to use a coupon on each item purchased, which she is allowed to do. She is still paying $1.99 for the two items, which is not exceeding the purchase price.
Now the Albertson's $5/50 in the newspaper ad does state after all coupons. The Manager did have the right to refuse that one as a competitor if that is the coupon that was used. There is also a $5/50 Albertson's from the Entertainment book from last year that does not state after coupons.
Rudeness from a Manager is never acceptable, for any reason. If this was the CS Manager, I would speak with the Store Manager. If this was the Store Manager, then an email to Corporate is in order. They can also clear things up concerning the policy about being able to use two coupons on a BOGO.

WISH LIST
Well, I think this manager has mentally or emotionally made it to where I simply can not shop at his store if I am using coupons.
I went there a bit ago, planned to get some michael angelos, martha white, and rosetto.
I got out of my car and saw that manager in the parking lot. I went in to the store, got a cart, started heading towards the muffin aisle...and got a really sick feeling in my stomach and was getting anxious anticipating this manager saying something about my coupon use that would insinuate that I was cheating or something.
I walked out and went to another publix. :frown: Just couldn't do it...
